Hey ladies! So we got married 4 weeks ago, and in September we're off for 10 nights to the Maldives - as we had ridiculous weather on our wedding day, we've had an idea of taking my wedding dress on honeymoon with us, and having a couply photoshoot on the beach with hubby in a shirt and trousers, and us at the beach at sunset etc - does anyone have any idea of how to contact a Maldives based photographer? I've messaged the resort to see if they can recommend anyone as they provide a photographer as part of their vow renewal package, but we don't want any of the package stuff, we just want some great shots for fantastic memories, and a disc of images etc...

A lot of the resorts do have in house photographers, so you may be able to have a photoshoot with them! Xxx

Great thanks - I also googled but found all sorts of photographers based in diff countries who want airfare paying to get them there to do the shoot! Wasn't aware of in house photographers, will see if the resort comes back with any details - failing that, am thinking of using my own camera with a timer and tripod and editing the pictures myself when we get home!

Omg have had the best news ever!! Decided last week to have a bit of a dabble with online bingo - I know! Spent £10 on tickets to play throughout the evening and totally forgot about it - decided to log in this evening to check my account and I won £500!!! Best bit is that now I'm going to use that to pay for the honeymoon photographer - it's only $162 including an hour's shoot and images on disc, plus an overnight coral romance package which gets us spa treatments, a remote island with a water bungalow, dinner on the beach, snorkel tour etc - we were going to get it anyway but at $600 it was a bit of a bite your lip moment as to whether or not we should splurge on it seeing as we've already spent £4k on the honeymoon trip to date - but now we can go guilt free! Wahoo!
