I would really love to have my mum and all my bridesmaids in personalised robes in the morning of the wedding getting ready but that would mean buying 9 robes and the cheapest I can find them is £26 each - I just can't justify spending £234 on some robes!!.. does anyone know where I could get them cheaper? Or any other ideas that are similar? I did think of personalised pajamas .. but when getting ready we don't really want to be having to take things over our head!! .. HELP!?!? xxx

will they be personalised with their names, or just "bridesmaid"? Could you just get a plain robe and the iron on transfers? Not sure if this is any cheaper but just a thought?

Buy cheap robes from primarni and by transfers from the Bay of E !! Much cheaper option :-) Or, buy PJ nightshirts rather than PJ tops and buy transfers for them xxx

theres satin ones on bay of e for £15 each. That includes a name on the front, and "bridesmaid" on the back? x

Matalan had some of the flannelette style ones, you could just buy transfers from the bay then. We did our own vest tops, I'd just make sure that you could get out of whatever you choose without ruining hair and makeup lol xx

We had primani ones then got them printed by a stall in Meadowhall which cost £7 each, not sure how much the robes were but def cheaper than 26 each and you could pick from loads of designs xx

Hey girls, I was thinking maybe something like this but was wanting something more thin and cool, as we are getting married in Crete and will not be married until late afternoon and as I have 5 bm's 1fg and my mum and my h2b's mum, my stylist will need to start quiet early in the morning. So thought it would be nice for my girls to have a nice cool robe whilst hair & makeup are being done...xx

I brought the diametee transfers of bay of e and put it on tshirts and worked really well, surprised how easy it was but you need lots of heat from the iron.
Try searching on bay of e for wholesale dressing gowns as be cheaper if your bulk buying otherwise try primani, Matlan or supermarkets.

Have you tried looking for waffle ones? we had some of these ones from primani and they are alot thinner than the usual terry towel dressing gowns

I've gone with the vest tops rather than a dressing gown for me and my MOH. Firstly i know that i get hot when under stress and i can't think that a dressing gown would help! On the plus it was a lot cheaper and there was a lot more choice of customisation for the vest top, but i guess a robe is a bigger present/gesture.

A vest top is a good idea - cos the only thing i was worried about with a top is that it might be a struggle to get it over their heads when their hair and makeup have been done - but with a vet that will be a lot easier - could even step out of it if you want! .. :D xxx
