im thinking im being a bit dumb here but were looking at wording for the invitations and we dont know what to put if the ceremony and reception is being held in the same room!!! obviously weve got the main bit but when it comes to the part saying "and afterwards a reception @" we dont know what to put.
can someone help us out here please? xxx

could you not put something like the peoples name you are inviting, I will use my name for now, so it would be. helen and ricard are invited to the wedding and reception of..... and...., to be held at ......

yeah
were getting married at seamill hydro and our ceremony and reception is in the brisbane suite and was wondering if there was any way to put it, h2b thinks it looks stupid ceremony @ blah and reception @blah. just trying to think of another way of saying it. the other stuff like parental names etc are ok that part fine we just think the last bit looked odd xxx

We have the same venue for both and we have at the end of the invite date, time (of ceremony) and adress and then "followed by food, fun and festivities".
It’s so great to find that one special person

We're also getting married in the same room as our reception but they are partitioned off and are called King's Suite 1, 2 & 3. (1 will be the ceremony room, 2&3 for the wedding breakfast and 1, 2 & 3 for the evening reception). Here's a pic of my invite so you can get an idea.
