Hi yall Any yorkshire girls out there? Seems to me most wedding mags and things are dedicated to the bottom half of the country and it makes me sad :(

i used to live in rotherham and my dad is from hull .....does that count ?
still looking at venue - though dan's mum entered us into a wedding competition and we are one of the 50 finalist couples! ha ha so might be getting married at Ravens Hall! otherwise looked at east riddlesden hall or anywhere else they will let you get married with only 50 people! :)

Getting married in Halifax but I'm a southerner! There is a Yorkshire wedding mag called Yorkshire Wedding Directory so something like that... I'll look for it later and let you know! They give it out at wedding fairs.

so excited! got a gaggle of girlies who want to come to wedding fairs with me, especially my brother's gf (who is preggers with his second baby!) who is all broody for a wedding! ha ha! he'll blame me :) going to the one at crow hill in april - loved that venue the minute i set eyes on it, especially when i found out you can book it for the WHOLE weekend and have a picnic there on the sunday. loving that idea! :)

Hiya! I'm in Leeds and getting married at Weetwood Hall. One of only a few places near enough to us which was big enough for everybody and didn't force us to have a wedding breakfast. Would have liked Waterton Park Hotel but they forced you to have sit-down and drinks package etc etc which basically added up to £££££££ lol ps There is a Wedding Fayre at The Village Hotel South Leeds if anyone is interested at the end of March and is anywhere around there :)

My cousing had Weetwood Hall Laura. He got married at St Mary's Church at Whitkirk then had the reception/evening do at Weetwood. It's a lovely place. We were going to have the Irish Centre on the A64 - but after working out budgets we decided to just have a small (20 of us) wedding and 'elope' to Gretna instead.
