Yes, I heard about the cube of jelly a day as well.

When mine were awful after the acrylic nails I had at the wedding I used a normal strengthener. It took a while but has done the job.

Ive always had this eaxcat same problem and it drives me insane, Ive tried the vitamins, seemd to make them (and my hair) grow faster, but it didnt seem to do anything for the strenght of them.

I still have some sea kelp thingies which i might continue taking, plus i always tend to give up on the clear nail varnish, so i will try that too haha!

what does the cube of jelly do!?

Mine were like this, I started taking 5mg of biotin every day, it's a hair and nail supplement and is quite cheap from the rainforest. x

Also don't forget that how the tips of your nails are today is actually six months ago! I personally wouldn't recommend any gel being put onto your nails ... they have to file a bit of the top of your nail away to get the gel on in the first place, and then every time they are re-done a little bit more is filed off. If you ever want to have your natural nails again it must be filed off ... it's a disataer for natural nails to have this stuff put on them!

Keep them really short and massage cuticle oil into them twice a day hun. If you can afford it, treat yourself to the odd manicure here and there. There is a great place near me where they put oils all over your hands and nails and put your hands in heated mittens so the oil soaks right in - works wonders xx
