    Hi Girls,
Following on from a previous post I've been to the Dr's today she was so lovely and shes decided to change my medication from seroxat to Citalopram and shes also given me some beta blockers to use as and when I need them plus the reassurance that if I totally lose the plot before the wedding I can have some diazapan.
Feeling alot better now and have got on and made the appt for the men to be measured for their suits, phoned the venue to arrange to go in the night before to sort things out and been to see the vicar to get a rough idea how the order of service should go so will now be looking for hymns lol....
Would love to hear if any of you have had any experience taking Citalopram ....
    Thanks again girls xxx

I took citalopram for about a year but I was on a fair few other things aswell.... I found that when I forgot to take it I really noticed and it made me feel really sick, dizzy and tired. And when I 1st started taking it I was really floaty...

I have taken Citalopram before... I did really work for me until I stopped... I did get really bad headaches whilst waiting for the tablets to kick in.. I had to wait around 6 weeks before they could increase the amount as starting on 5mg it didn't do anything for me... once I started taking the 10mg it took around another 6 weeks before they finally kicked in... but when they did they really worked. :)

Also when I stopped I didn't get any symptoms.

Hi, I'm on Citalopram now for panic attacks, I havent had once since I started taking them, been on them for 6months. The first 2 weeks was horid tho, bad headaches..etc but its defo worth it. Try to take them first thing in the morning with toast and a cup of tea. And just remember you can still take paracotomal while on them, I was original told I couldnt and went through a week of horid headaches, until I was told I actually could take painkillers and that was a life saver. Hope it all works out for you hun xxx

I've taken Citalopram (known commonly as Celexa) and I had all the awful side effects with it, in fact I mostly had the sensation of my brain buzzing inside my head. But it's a very safe and common medication to use honey, so persevere with them xxx
