I have known my chief bridesmaid for nearly 11 years we met on our first day at college & were inseparable until I moved back up north. We talk every day and still know when each other feels low. She's like a sister to me.
3 weeks after we met her mum (aka mum2) was diagnosed with a rare form of skin cancer. She has battled so bravely through chemotherapy and all the drugs and at the beginning of last things things started to look brjghter. Unfortunately the day after me and the oh got engaged at a regular check up they found mire rumours and said it had grown rapidly and faster then they had thought it would. Mum2 went through radiotherepy this time goff 3 hours, 5 days a week for 6 weeks. Through all of this dad2 has been very ill & hospitalized
Today they went to see the consultant and mum2 got the best news its all gone and the outcome promising although it may come back it want be as bad or as fast.
Dad2 has a scan next week but is responding well to the medication he's on and they have both said they want to be back to full health for our wedding. Having them there would truly be the beat present we could get :-)
