Fingers crossed at the start of May it shouldn't be too hot or muggy - but then with UK weather - who knows!?

Try a cooling gel - but try this way before your wedding to make sure you don't have any skin reactions. They are often used for burns but you can get some that aren't quite as medicated.

Try Acriflex if you are REALLY hot and sticky or a cosmetic one if it's not too bad - (Mandara Spa do a gorgeous Grapefruit and Lemon one)

Apply to the obvious places - behind the ears, back of your neck, behind the knees and sometimes in between your thighs (incase of chafing!!)

    Hope this helps!! xxx

Does your venue have air conditioning or heating? May can be an odd month when it comes to weather.

Maybe think about an evening dress if you're worried about overheating.

You can get that cooling spray, its like a mist have a spray of that before your service and then maybe while you signing the register and when having your photos done x

We got married in Vegas and it was HOT! I wore a full on wedding dress and have to say that by the end of the day, when we arrived back in the hotel before heading to the bar, I was so relieved to be able to get my dress off! I hadn't planned to take it off, but I was so hot and sticky by that point, I was just done.

The worst part for me was my back (where the dress was tight around my bodice) and yes, between my thighs, behind the back of my knees too. I had to shower just to feel as though I could head back out in public!

We did take co-ordinated hand fans which were a god-send for our faces - I'd recommend those.
