Thank you, I still didn't get that wow moment but I don't think I ever will, I felt really awkward having 3 people watching me let alone the 100 that will be at the church Why didn't we elope lol.

It has definitely inspired me to start my diet again!!

The shop (E1derberry Br!des) that I went to was amazing, if anyone is near Basingstoke I highly recommend them. They didn't come into the changing room with me until I was in the dress, then they would zip/corset me in which for me was fantastic!! They let us take lots of photos, were very patient & helpful to.

My mum liked the dress without the belt but I felt it needed the belt, unfortunately we didn't take photo's without.
The belt costs £127 though which seems ridiculous so I might look out for a cheaper version. The lady in the shop said if I could lose 1/2 - 1 inch max from my hips then when my dress comes in I wouldn't need any alterations except for the hem :) Although I plan on dropping 1 preferably 2 dress sizes before the wedding, so chances are I will need alterations all over. I couldn't risk ordering a size smaller as my boobs never change size no matter how much weight I lose or gain.
I've got the dentist at 10:30 so will be ringing my local shop as soon as I get home, if I can talk!!

I do like the belt, it just gives it a bit of extra 'something'. I imagine it would look too plain without a belt.

You sound like me.. my boobs always stay the same as well and I always need to get everything in a size bigger just so I can fit them in haha. Annoying! x

I think the belt looks lovely, usually they are there so that the dress doesn't look too plain so it probably would without. You could probably get a much cheaper version though, £127 seems a bit excessive for a belt! x

That dress is supposed to be worn without a belt but I felt it needed something extra, so asked them to try some belts on me, that one was my favorite.

My mum is ordering my dress tomorrow, eek I'm so excited!! We're going with the original shop (further away) as my local stockist has been very unreliable so far, so we decided not to risk ordering from them. They don't answer the phone, Keep addressing my emails in someone else's name?? We went to the shop to order (pre arranged an appointment) only to be told the assistant couldn't place the order & the manager was off??

My MOH & eldest bridesmaid's dresses arrived a few days ago, they tried them on Friday but they weren't sitting right due to our poor attempt at tying the corset. The eldest bridesmaid tried hers again on Sunday, this time 3 of us tied the corset & it fitted perfectly.
I will be booking them in for alterations nearer the wedding as they are to long, they are also hoping to have lost some weight.

The colour is closer to the 1st picture & they look so much better in the flesh (when I showed H2B the pic he hated it, but he saw the bridesmaid in it on friday & he loved it) unfortunately it wasn't photographing very well on my phone.
I am getting another dress made for my almost 12 year old niece but with straps, I will order this in a few months time.

I have ordered these shoes for my MOH & bridesmaid, I will hopefully be collecting them tomorrow, just hoping there a good colour match for their dresses.

We very nearly ordered those bridesmaid dresses as well.

The one's I ended up choosing didn't photograph very well on my phone either, I'm hoping they take much better photo's on the day with better lighting and camera's. Can't wait for my bridesmaids to actually get to try them on.

I've paid 50% off of the cookies today, booked 2 nights at a local hotel & spa (night before wedding & wedding night) & my mum has ordered my dress :)

I picked up the bridesmaids shoes today, they don't look as nice as they did in the pictures but i'll wait & see what the bridesmaids think. They were a bargain at £4.99 each (had 2 x £15 off codes, so saved £30) so hopefully they'll be fine.

    Updated to do list:

    Booked so far:
Church @ £811 (paid £40 deposit) will increase slightly when 2015 prices are released
Reception venue @ £1900 (paid in full)
Cars @ £730 (paid in full) also paid an extra £50 to collect us in the evening
Photobooth @ £449 (paid £100) - Need to chance up at some point to make sure they still exist
    Band @ £600
Centrepieces @ £270 (paid in full)
    Food & cake, dad's paying
Invites & save the dates @ £70? (Paid in full)
Insurance @ £37 (paid in full)
Photographer @ £600 (paid in full)
Florist @ £299 (paid in full)
Chair & table covers @ £365.95 (paid in full)
Rings @ £630 (paid in full)
    9 suits & shoes @ approx £1,500 (paid £945 so far)
    My dress & veil @ £922 (mum's paid)
Bridesmaids dresses @ £37 each (paid in full)
Bridesmaids shoes @ £4.99 each (paid in full)
Hotel for wedding night @ £135 (paid £13.50 deposit)
Hotel for wedding eve @ £130 (paid £13.50 deposit)
My shoes @ £39 but I'm unsure if i'll be wearing them or buying something else??
Sweet buffet jars (paid in full) I also have some sweets already (pink millions & mini wham bars)
    Cookies/favours @ £185 (£92.50 paid so far)

    Still to do:

Hair & makeup - I've sent off for lots of quotes
    Sweets for sweet buffet
Jewellery for myself & my girls (SIL2B has said I can borrow her pearl necklace, my something borrowed)
Flower girl dresses & shoes (j0hn lew!s fairy dress & n3xt glitter shoes)
    Youngest bridesmaid dress & shoes
Stag/hen - I want to do this as cheap as possible after seeing how much we still need to pay!! Hen's have other idea's!!
Honeymoon (H2B's parents have given us £2,000 towards this)

The plan was an adult butlins weekend, which would have meant having the hen in june, but that's now off the cards. H2B's sister wouldn't have been able to attend as she is busy for pretty much the whole of june (holidays & concerts), I couldn't go without her.

I then looked into an online hen party organiser which came to £220 each for 2 nights in a Bournemouth B&B, friday night cocktail making with a 3 course meal, saturday morning dance class & saturday night a comedy club with dinner. I don't think this quote is to bad but once you add on petrol, spending money plus everyone wants to dress up on the saturday so I'd need a costume, the costs start spiraling.

I met up with my MOH, eldest bridesmaid & H2B's sister last weekend to discuss my hen & I said I'd be more then happy going out for a meal, then bowling after & expressed my concern's over the other hen being to expensive. I was told that they are taking over & that if need be they would split my costs between everyone that's attending, but I don't like the sound of that, everyone will already be paying enough themselves.

The bridesmaid's shoes were awful they pinched their feet alot, no way they could have worn them all day. They exchanged them today for these (see pic), which are very comfy & thankfully look alot better in the flesh then in that picture.

I've ordered a different bridesmaid dress for my adult bridesmaids to try as I'm not 100% happy with the ones I've got.
One of my bridesmaids tried it on in store today but they only had it in navy & a size 20, she's a 14, so she pulled it into place.
I really liked it, she wasn't so sure but said it was my decision, I think she'll change her mind once it's the correct size & colour.
I think it's alot more flattering on her.

I think so to Donna, it gives her a lovely shape. She's very self conscious so I didn't want to point out to her that her figure looks alot better in the new dress, I don't think the size or colour of the dress helped as you cant get a true picture. Hopefully the new dress arrives quickly so she can try it on, I can't wait!!

    Bianca it was £119

So the dress arrived & it was a major fail, it looked awful on her :(
My other bridesmaid also tried it on & it also looked awful on her, gutted.............so were going to stick with the original dress.
I love the old dress on them in the flesh, I just hate the pictures I've taken (above) hopefully on the day when they have their hair styled, nice makeup, jewellery, flowers, etc it will all look gorgeous on camera.

My hair & make up consultaion went well, the lady was lovely so I have booked her :)
She recommended having my trial 6 weeks before the wedding maximum, but I booked for the 5th March as my hair accessory will depend upon which style I end up with & I want to allow enough time to find the perfect one.

We have our marriage preperation course at the church on the 28th of this month, so the plan is to save until then so that we can pay off the balance that day.

Thank you everyone, well funny you should mention the bridesmaids dress KatieD I've ordered another lol

I've ordered one of those short length multiway dresses (like 2 bird$) for myself for honeymoon but i'm going to get my bridesmaids to try it on. If it's the right shade & they like it i'll order them the longer length ones :)
It looks amazing in the pictures & I like how they can wear the straps differently to suit them, they also come in children's sizes too so I could get the 11 & 9 year old them.

    I'm a bridesmaid up :)

In the early planning stages we asked H2B's sister to be our bridesmaid, she said she couldn't accept as we would already have so much to pay out & that we didn't need the expense of another bridesmaid (we have another 5, well 1 is a flower girl).

Myself & H2B have been saying for a few weeks we'd ask her again as most costs are covered now, so this morning I asked her & explained that we could afford to have her & she has accepted :)
