She was so made up, she clearly really wanted to be a bridesmaid but didn't want to put any extra burden onto us!!

Just need to update the florist & hair/makeup lady on the extra bridesmaid.

I ordered our flower girl dress today, M&$ have a 20% off code so thought I may as well buy it now.

I also went to m0ss to order the mens pin collar shirts, but they didn't have them all in stock so I need to wait for them to order them in. Their waistcoats, ties, cufflinks, pocket squares & shoes have all arrived now so other than the shirts & some black socks they are finished :)

I also rang the hotel up that were getting ready in to enquire how much extra the suite was & was pleasantly surprised that its only £30 more (I was expecting alot more) so I've booked that room, as well as the family room so we'll have plenty of room on the day.

Wow I haven't updated this diary in forever lol, I now have new bridesmaid dresses (yes again!!) they are perfect, the girls went for their fittings on saturday & not much needs altering (mainly length & straps shortened).

We got all of the groomsmen to try their suits on last weekend as we purchased them so long ago, 2 of them had gained weight so we had to change their suits which wasn't a problem. One of the groomsmen dropped out :( he moved to Tenerife last year & told us he was 100% coming when we purchased his suit!! Only to ring last week to say the flights are to expensive so he won't be here, luckily m0ss let us change his suit for our nephews size.

H2B's brother & sister have got their children matching suits for our nephews, I mentioned ages ago that matching suits would look nice in the photo's & they agreed. The only problem is my brother has already purchased his son's outfits so it will look like H2B's side are all part of the wedding party & my side was excluded!! I did explain to my brother & he said he'll stick to what they already have but I think that's only because they cant afford the suits, so I'm contemplating buying them.

My niece is a tomboy & hated the girly bridesmaids shoes so we've got her vans, they are very her!! Our sons also have vans.


My dress came in, I decided to add a a sort of jacket (similar to the pics) as all I could see was back fat near my arms lol, the shops seamstress was fully booked so they recommended a local seamstress. I needed to have it let out slightly at the hips, capelet sewn on & a bustle added which she charge £50 for, I'm sure the bridal shop would have been double or triple that.


Went on a shopping trip with my mum & managed to sort her's, my nan's & grandad's outfits.

We found out that our friend works at the hotel I've booked for the wedding eve & night, he sorted us out an amazing deal!! We now have our wedding night for free & 25% off the 2 rooms on the wedding eve :)

Everything is now paid in full except for the dj as he wants paying on the night. I need to get my dad's gift but have no idea what to get him :/

I really want to put enough behind the bar for everyone's 1st drink as we aren't having a drinks reception, this will be a maximum of £350, H2B doesn't want to!! OH yeah & our church has scaffolding around the entrance inside & out which sent me into a major panic, my photographer has pushed my worries aside though as she said she can edit it out.

I'm sure there's lots more to update but that's all I can think of for now
