I've just had a call to say my bridesmaids dresses are here! I'm so excited! 2 of 3 are here anyway, last one due in feb/march.

Having looked at my original list...

We have:

Venue - includes food, bridal suite and DJ - £2400 paid
Paid deposit on registrar and gave notice - £208 left to pay
Bought my dress and all accessories (veil, shoes, tiara, hoop)
Paid 50% on bridesmaids 2 out of 3 dress in the shop
MIL paid deposit on suits and is paying the balance
Deposit on photographer (again, in laws are paying for photog)
Favours and boxes - Building the boxes in March, if we can wait that long!)
Invitations sent out - a couple left who I've had trouble meeting up with
All day guests RSVPs are sorted (apart from one family) if they do come, we will have 64 day guests including ourselves and photographer
Have my jewellery, but currently on the lookout for a new bridal set as I now want pearls!
Hair and make-up sorted for a fab price of £50, myself and 3 BMs! A huge discount as its a friend and doing it as our wedding present and is only charging for the second girl's wages!
Hair trial booked for 15th February (hopefully make-up trial too, but will double check that)

I've always had very fine hair, hate it. To my amazement loads still falls out as well haha I'm gonna end up bald by the time I'm 30!!!

I was quite lucky mine let me have a little touch of it actually! I think he let me because he wanted his Cars table along with the other obvious boy disney films! It was supposed to be traditional princess couples :( Haha x

So I had my hair and makeup trial today! I LOVED it and it was so much fun. I kept my eyes closed the whole time my makeup was being done so it was a surprise and didn't see until my hair was finished. By the time it was done I was too scared to open my eyes with excitement/nerves!

One of my BMs also had her trial as she has thick hair too.



She had her makeup done too but we ran out of time so didnt get a photo as she only put a base coat on and didnt do the eyes or lips.

Thank you! I loved it! It was airbrush makeup too so was so strange! It was like a spray tan gun in font of my face but it didnt feel like anything was going on, just felt like cold air on my face, was quite interesting!

My only doubt was that I didnt have much colour on my cheeks, but the gun kept blocking at the beginning. She managed to finish it all off and then when it was working again to do my cousins base coat so added some extra colour to my cheeks so felt much happier with it!

She curled my hair first and put it in rollers to set and cool. Then she did my cousins hair, my makeup and finished my hair off. My hair took a long time though, didn't time it but it was long lol.

Lol have the nerves set in yet for the big day now you've had your trials and OH on his stag do x
