After too-ing & fro-ing with the venue & chef, we have finally agreed on the choices for starter & main courses We have gone for a package deal but were not overly impressed with the options on the menu
We have therefore added our own main choices but will have to pay a slight supplement per head for the chicken, which is fine I thought however, I would ask you lovely ladies what you would pick as it may give us some kind of idea. These are the 2 options our guests will choose between, not one or the other. We have 2 choices on starter and main

I chose the squash but then i'm a veggie!! I would guess most people given the choice of meat or none meat will go for the meat option regardless of the meat! lol.

The veggie option was our suggestion as their choices were pretty boring & every day I love chicken, people keep asking why we dont have beef or pork. I have only started to recently eat beef but still prefer chicken and I dont like pork. These are always the answers I give when actually, I should just say "It's our wedding, our choice!"

i chosse the squash .. im not veggie but i love to eat things that are just a bit different and i can have chicken anytime
My mum, sis, nan and aunt are not veggie but have said they will prob go for that as they love goats cheese I do have 2 known veggies coming and a vegan but her menu is a whole different ball game! LOL

I am not a veggie but I would be really disappointed to be served a none meat meal, we eat meat with every meal and how I have been brought up and doesn't feel like a proper meal to me without meat! Just my opinion.... Can you not have a meat and veggie option? Xxx

Millz these are the 2 options for main course. Our guests choose between these and let us know which they would like We also have 2 starters, I have not added them here as we are not being charged a supplement for them x

I went for the veg option because I find chicken hard to eat when it's overcooked. Not that yours will be, but I often avoid whole chicken breast dishes out of fear of it being overcooked!

I went for the chicken becuase I am allergic to nuts ... but I also have a dairy intolerance so the choices wouldn't be very good for me xx
