i found some lovely bridesmaid dresses and they have just gone in the sale !

My bridesmaids are all shapes and sizes and the youngest one lives quite far away and cant drive

She is coming down for a family event in 2 weeks

I dont know whether to order them now in an array of sizes- get them all to try them on and return the ones i dont need (possiblly all if they dont look right)

the returns policy is 14 days for a refund 28 for exchange but obviously need to time it right otherwise in stuck with a giftcard for £500 which i may not need and im just worried that i will time it wrong for the 14 days or the shop wont take it back (department store and they dont have that concession in my local store)

what do you think ?

i woldgo to the shop and exlpain ask if they can extend the returns time .if they say yes get it in writing ..

I would say there's no harm in asking if they can extend the returns time, however I know from my experience as a shop supervisor, most places won't be allowed (set rules from head office) to extend their returns time for any reason. It might be worth, if the shop says that they can't extend the returns time, it may be worth your while contacting their head office and explaining the situation, and they'll be more in a position to help you out than the store staff would be allowed xxxx

Why not get their sizes. Go to the shop and try one of the dresses on if it looks good order them in x

i agree a bargains only one if you use it...we got 4 cheap dresses....and then i decided they werent NICE enoguh after seeing what everyone else has lol

How long is the sale on for?

If the sale is on until the last one is there then wait.
I personally wouldnt want to be stuck not being able to get your money back if something was wrong.
