they should have been sent by the end of this month, but we spent too much time messing about with the design (and we weren't told there was a cut off date for having them ready before christmas) :o/ They aren't going to be sent until the end of January now and we get married in April. My Mum and Stepdad are going to put together some save the dates to send out with christmas cards.
Here's hoping for speedy replies when they do go out and not too much messing about.

If you send them out as soon as you get them and give a quick rsvp date say within 2 weeks then that should be plenty of time

Thank you Elizabeth. I hate feeling so disorganised and my stress levels have been through the roof the last couple of days! We've also had a nightmare trying to get an address list for H2B's family from his Mum. I don't know why but she was getting the list from his Sister and editing it before giving it to us. We couldn't wait any longer to place the order and she phoned this morning wanting to add somebody else to the list (we've already changed it a couple of times because she wanted people added and promoted) :o/ We've had to tell her it's too late. H2B said it was fine but I can't imagine it went down very well because it's a friend of their family that she wanted adding.
I've got two days off work next week so I'll probably be writing save the date cards. We're dog sitting for my Mum and Stepdad aswell so I hope they've got neat handwriting :o)

H2B's Mum has insisted that the family friend is added to the evening guest list and has suggested that we get a normal evening invitation to send because he won't know the difference. I doubt we'll be able to buy a single invite so we can either buy a packet of really cheap ones or run one off on the computer.

Yay! They supplied all our invites, RSVP's, matching envelopes and thank you cards with some free personalised pens thrown in with our names and wedding date on them.
