I was thinking about going on the lipotrim diet pre wedding my friend has lost LOADS of weight on it in such a short time. I was looking into and then her hair started falling out!! Not even going to consider it now! lol

I'v seen Lloydes Pharmacy do Optislim. Their started packs are £35 for 8 days worth of shakes and then afterwards from what I can see on the website ONE shake is £2.00 after that and you have 3 a day.

I know people who have slimfast before and the programmes sound pretty similar. What would you girls do. Have you heard anything good/bad about either of them.

Also another question - have any of you got the Wii EA active game and leg strap that you don't use anymore you wanna donate or sell to me? lol

Well I looked into lipotrim and all you have is 3 shakes a day and 2 litres of water.
The FULL DAYS calorie intake is 450!!!!!!!!!!!
Hair falling out?! What about her nails, bones, teeth. Shes also got ridiculously stupid and clumsy - no wonder her brain is starving too.

l tryed w8 matters before and lost half a stone you have a couple of shakes but they do soups and other powder food!! you fill up on water.. takes about four days to go into cotosous!!! ( where body uses already stored fat)
you can not excercise on this type of diet!!!!!!
l need to tell you that the weight went on as fast as it came off!!! because to keep it off you need to do a controlled eating plan basically for life!!!
now l am currently doing the slim-fast diet!!! and l do make sure l eat a real proper meal at tea-time, as l am going to the gym, l am making sure l drink 2 ltr water a day and l am snacking on fruit, so far l have lost five pounds!!! in two weeks
    xxx

l have the odd we treat a weight watcher biscuit!! only at weekends lol
good luck hunni you can do slim fast and still excercise... the other diets are pretty lethal and they do warn you about hair loss in w8 matters, the powder food was rank so l wouldn't opt for it again

I love the banana slimfast. I have tried it before when I was about 18. I really want to try the coffee one though. x

Iv got LOADS of hair anyway. Hairdresser cuts H2B's hair too and has said not to have children but if we do he point blank refuses to cut their hair. Coz his is thick and naturally curly (poser has it chemically straightened) and my ponytail is twice as thick as it should be. lmao

Be very wary of these diets hun (says the expert who is overweight and need to lose a few stone, lol). My friend done lighter life and it almost killed her. She had a ton of weight to lose and she did lose loads but it was horrible seeing her on it. She hallucinated about food chasing her, she was always emotional and if she ever had a binge night, boy did she binge which resulted in her having to be sick because she has eaten so much - maybe a sign of bullimia, not sure though.

Anyway she came off it and has never looked back. These diets are great in writing but I wouldn't try them hun if you want to stay healthy. xxx

no no no! Seriously! Please don't try and put me off! I hate dieting as it is. lol.

I need to shift this weight and fast. If I can't do it for my wedding day what motivation have I got to do it any other time. x

I tried Lipotrim a couple of years ago. The lack of just about everything made me feel lightheaded most of the time and I found it harder to do simple things and took longer to work things out. I had to stop after just over a week, as I feared for things like driving.

I went on the Lighter Life diet...550 calories a day..and lost ALOT (about 4.5/5 stone in 8/9 weeks). NO hair falling out, my skin was better..and I had alot more energy...but I, and the vast majority on the course did not last the 12 weeks).

The diet was DRASTIC (your body goes into a state of Ketosis and starts to 'eat its stored fat due to low calorie intake) and it certainly worked in the SHORT TERM but even with the weekly 'self help' groups (load os bollox IMO)..the willpower to stick on the plan was MAJOR and IMO it is not something that everyone can sustain for onger periods (you are not allowed to be on LL for longer than 12 weeks at such a low calorie intake).

If you have 'food issues' I firmly believe you need to get your 'head and food problems' sorted before you expect to be successful at any weight loss programme.

I say have a go at losing some sugar and carbs and exercise a bot more..a sure fire way to lose a small amount regularly...just think lb a week for the next 12 months...

clair that sound like the w8 matters programme l went on, christ the sore heads where awful!!!
the weight went back on in jig time!! all that money down the drain xx
l have avery PMA towards food, so going on the slim-fast diet for me. just means that l am eating better
l have my shape for breakfast, l'm actually eating more fruit where as before l would eat crisps, biscuits
l am using the fruit instead of the slimfast snack
l have cut out potatoes n chips replaced this with extra veg!!, l'm drinking tons more water now as before l would have a cup of tea or coffee, here l have limited my in take to one morning coffe black and one tea-time coffe black
    xx
