Ok, have found a possible idea for my flowergirls, only it's in white and my dress is ivory (but more milky than creamy) - would they go together? Have put pics in my profile, girls will be approx 4.5 years old at the wedding and I think they'll look like little fairies! Or is that too fussy and I should stick to the simpler dress designs?

Sounds sweet. I think it would be fine. Maybe add a little something to their dress like a small sash or flower to match the colour of your dress maybe? I have seen lots of Ivory and white colour schemes that go nicely together. xx

i dont think white and ivory, cream, offwhite should go together, i bought my flower girls dresses in white and fushia and next to my dress my dress looked mucky and its only slightly off white my dress but put it next to pure white and u can tell a mile off my flower girl dresses also had fushia in them but it didnt break it up at all. xx

you can get other dresses in the same style but in ivory, cream that will have them looking like gorgeouse beautiful little faries u could even get some dresses with wings on the back :-) xx

my personal oppinion is dont do it hun but everyone has differnt oppinions and visions and its your day so do whats you want and are happy with xx

Fab thanks ladies - was thinking of having alice bands with flowers in my colours, and also giving them a teddy bear each with a ribbon in my colours too, so maybe it'll go after all - am seeing my dress again next week so will hold some white white material next to it and see how it looks!

I think they are lovely, but I would maybe try and look for them in ivory.

when I was trying my wedding dress on the other day (it is diamond white) i asked what colour would go with it for the bridesmaids. apparently the in thing is to not even have your bridesmaids matching? so theres 1 idea! anyway, my flowergirls will be wearing ivory dresses and my adult bridesmaids are wearing red!" i dont think it really matters as you are the one who is supposed to be 'standing out' from the crowd anyway! xx
