Hi everyone, need some help with top table plan. As my dad and OH's mum are both single but my mum is remarried. My chief bridesmaid is sitting on the table directly infront of the top table with the other bridesmaids and ushers as they are all family so it will be a bridal party table! The problem i have is deciding which way round to put top table, i know which one i prefer.
best man1 - best man2 - groom mother - groom - bride - bride dad - bride mum - bride step dad
this is an option to have both best men sat next to each other but is it ok to have the grooms mum next to him or should it be my mum? second option...
best man1 - bride step dad - bride mother - groom - bride - bride dad - groom mother - best man2
this option keeps my mum and dad seperate but means both best men are sat apart and next to our parents who they dont know
What do you think is best? x

I think the first one would be better x

thats the one i prefer, u think its ok to not have my mum next to the groom? i know my mum and dad will be fine next to each other its just the thought of putting my mum further down the table x

Yeah I think itll be fine.
Our top table went: hubbys mums partner - hubbys mum - best man - groom - bride - bridesmaid - my mum - my dad
Even though theres the tradition, you can have it however you want. I was tempted with a sweetheart table lol
ok thanks, feel a bit better now then, when we are sat down which side should i be on to my h2b? should he be on my left or my right? or does it not matter? x

It doesn't matter where sweet =) you will be to busy smiling and being happy that your now married to worry about who's sitting where. Iv got my mum and dads partners as well to think of and my hubby's sister and my son! All gets so confusing. I think now it's just going to be myself hubby MOH and best man! X x
