I have a white gold engagement ring with a sapphire in the middle with a small diamond on either side.
I really fancy a yellow gold band - but not sure if they will look good together?

    Opinions please!

i personally prefer the uniform of having them all the same colour but honestly it's your preference, try some rings on and see if you like the colour difference, if you do then go for it

It's all personal preference and you're the one who is going to have to wear them together for the rest of your life (hopefully!). Go and try some on and see how they look.

Like everyone else has said, it is down to personal preference.

You could, as an alternative, wear your engagement ring on the same finger but on your other hand.

It's totally up to you, if you try them and feel they look good together then that's great. I would just check with your jeweller though about the two different types of gold being together and make sure that they won't rub which could mean that one of the rings becomes damaged.

Definitely go for whatever you prefer, I have a white gold engagement ring with a black Diamond & my wedding ring is rose gold with diamonds through it. I personally love the contrast of the two :) X

I like the idea of the contrasting colours - but as previously said, check with your jeweller first

Looking forward to becoming the 3rd and last Mrs McLauchlan

It doesnt matter what colour gold you get as lng as the carat and weight is the same otherwise one will wear the other down!
