We get centre pieces and decoration (including real flowers) in with our package.

Oh thinks they should all be real, and wants real for button holes, but I'm really tempted to get foam bouquets so my maids can have keepsakes, and they don't wilt.

Opinions on having a mixture of real and fake?

My personal opinion is always real flowers at a wedding :)
I get what you mean by keepsake but maybe get some of the flowers pressed into gifts ? Like necklace or album which includes pics from day :)

I wanted fake for our wedding but I'm now getting real bouquets. My reason for the fakes were I could keep them but they will get on my nerves after the wedding day and I'd throw them out.

Personally now I feel real are so much better and I don't think I'd mix real with fakes

I got real for buttonholes and corsages, as I couldn't make a nice fake version myself, but they wilted in hours and got crushed. The bouquets were fakes and looked great all day despite being dropped everywhere.

When we went to order our flowers we told them our colour was turquoise and he said how hard it was to match. For my bridal bouquet I want aspects of the turquoise mixed in and he recommended for the turquoise to use artificial flowers and real for the white/ivory flowers. So I'm having a mixed bouquet and the bridesmaids and buttonholes are real roses x

This is one of the images we showed our florist of what I wanted for my bouquet. I dont have the second picture but he said it was very unlikely the blue flowers would be real. He did give is the option of dying real flowers but he made it sound as if it may not necessarily be the right colour or it could drip through the day so I chose the artificial over dying x

That's gorgeous April, really unusual. I love things different from the norm.

Mine need to be Cadbury purple and white/ivory

I am going for real with purple and ivory flowers. I have left it up to the florist what to include but there are definitely ivory gerberas, and a rose of some description. Men are having the rose as buttonhole either ivory or lilac and H2b is having a gerbera.
