Just reviewing our buffet menu - what does everyone think of it? Enough choice? Too healthy? Something missing? (I've noticed there is nothing with pastry...ie. tartlets or quiche!) Our chef I think is quite open to additions or changes so just wanted to get some opinions - if you went to a wedding and were presented with this choice would you be happy?

Choice of 3 Carved Meats (Ham, Beef, Pork & Turkey)
    Crusty Roll & Butter
    Home-Made Potato Salad, Home-Made Coleslaw
Home-Made Pasta Salad, Home-Made Cous Cous Salad
    Mixed Salad
Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese Roulade with Honey Mustard
    Crudities & Dips
    Rosemary & Garlic Roast Potatoes
Goats Cheese & Roasted Vegetable Terrine
    Fruit & Cheese Display
    Tarte-Au-Citron
    Raspberry & White Chocolate Cheesecake

What'd'ya'reckon? (Its £19.99 a head by the way without drinks package)

sounds lovely, much nicer than our buffet, as we are just having sausage rolls, chicken wings and that type of thing but yours sounds really nice and expensive - everyone should like it x

Drinks package is £8.00 a head, thats for orange juice or Bucks Fizz on arrival, one glass of white or red wine with dinner and a glass of sparkly stuff (not Champagne but cheaper alternative) for the toast.

sounds nice I'd be happy with that!! If it's in the evening and you've all had a sit down meal before just take note that a lot of people eat less for the buffet...which is why I'm not bothered about spending extra money and getting more choice for mine!

I expect a lot of our day time guests wont stay long into the evening as most have to travel and not many are staying over. So evening buffet is really for our evening guests who are coming at 7.30ish. So will bear that in mind when I look at numbers. x

I personally prefer your evening buffet. Not everyone likes smoked salmon with cheese, so the only thing left to get the teeth into is the cold meat. Other than salad stuff that is.

could he add something hot maybe to go along with the roast tatties? Even if its just hot quiche or pasties or bridies or something?
