    we have been told by a few people that they are surprised we are doing it. However, mil2b wants us to because she said it will be nice for people to know what music the string quartet are playing. Therefore, we thought perhaps we could also turn it into kind of an order of the day/ceremony by putting ceremony details in predominately but then a small section for general events. No idea what to call it though as its not a service. It depends if you think you need it. I understand it will be nice to have the music lists in hence we are going ahead.

    I've heard people call it order of the day for civil ceremonies, with just timings on it etc :-)

    We're doing an order of the day for our civil ceremony. thinking of putting a note in the front from us both with a thank you for coming type of thing. Then the bits of the service, maybe with the readings written in, a reminder of the menu? x

    we arent doing anything like this as our budget wont cover it and we just dont feel it is needed really.
    We just figure people have been to weddings before, so they know the sort of things to expect, there are no hymns obviously, so we are just going to let it run without these.

    we do however have some postcards from vistaprint with our theme on saying thank for you sharing our special day, we plan to put one on each seat at the wedding venue
