I would take time of year / notice etc into consideration then say something. Worst case scenario they explain the extra costs and tell you there is nothing they can do..... best case... they offer you more of a discount. A couple of women have done this with regards to cars and things as well.

You'll find as soon as theres any mention of a wedding any supplier or company will rip you off and make their prices sky high. I can only assume this is the reason. Also maybe the fact your not getting married for a few years it might be that they have given you an estimated price as to how much it'll be when you need the venue.
