    Omg i cant believe it! Ive been wantin to get married in either a hotel, church or go all out n have the big castle. so as i was researchin prices for castles today i almost fell off my chair when i saw the prices to hold your reception at Warwick Castle. Its shocking and places shouldnt be aloud to charge that much. Its £135 per person (minimum of 50 ppl) I was Stunned by this xxx

    thank you hun, i was shocked i really was. i mean £135 pp is too much. H2B has worked there before duin security and he said it would be a nice place to consider but then i saw the prices and nearly fell off my chair. the price of that shattered my hopes for that castle lol. Have you sorted your venue out now Kaya? xx

    H2B sed tht hayley, im jst gunna keep lookin n hope something comes up. cnt get married jst outside our town either cuz everyone myt not be able to get there so gtta keep lookin n hope. n i no i askd my mate the same question, how the hell can they justify charging that much lol xx its horrendous isnt it xx

    Were having ours at a castle and its working out at about £70 a head for 4 course meal, 4 drinks & canapes & eveing buffet and tea or coffee. Minimum of 70 day guests but thats perfect as we are having about 85 :-) It is expensive but its fairytale like and stunning :-) x

    my venue is costing me £7845. Thats for 70 people. But we also get 16 gorgeous rooms for the night and the whole place to ourselves!
    I also have to decorate the place myself too.

    awwww a pink 1, bet thts gorgeous. Id of loved somewhrer like Warwick Castle. the grounds are stunning, the hall is huge, its just a whole round great place but at £135pp i almost cried when i saw the prices. Have told H2B n he said for tht price they can get stuffed lol x

    my cousin had a £350 pp wedding, they invited loads of people but none of his family were invited besides his mum, dad and sisters he told all his aunty and uncles if they wanted to come they have to pay them selves. His mums a stingy cow (why im inviting her to mine i dont know) shes rich too and wouldnt pay.

    thats out of order really isnt it. if i had the money to do it then i would but i thought its a bit tight when you only have X amount to spend.

    Brynie I think that's for the State Dining Experience there are cheaper options that we looked £87.50 Great Hall Wedding Breakfast & £67.50 Medieval Banquet. I've put a link on your wall, it would be amazing to have your reception there but one thing we noted is that you either have to get married at the local registry office or wait for the park to close to the public and have your ceremony about 5pm... xx

    wow that is a lot! our venue is £36.50 a head for 3 course meal and tea/coffee afterwards. one venue we looked at was £80 a head but there was no venue charge, where as we are also paying £2k to hire our venue so it evens itself out really x

    our wedding breakfast is £30.00 a head for a 3 course meal withtea/coffee too.. and then £16.50 per person for wine which includes soft drink or sparkling wine on arrival, wine with 3 course meal and champaigne for toasting.. then there was an additional cost of £500.00 to hire the marquee and ball room

    in total it comes to about £4,500 including our evening buffet
