    Hi everyone

I've only been engaged a week and have become addicted to this site very quickly everyone seems really friendly etc.

I'm completely at a loss as to where and how I want my big day to be. Option A) Home - Church = expensive??? or B) Go Abroad = beach but where???

I'm assuming most people have gone through these questions and I just wondered if you'd share how you came to your conclusions of how you wanted everything.

Make a list of pros and cons for each.
Or close your eyes and imagine your wedding- where is it? Home or away?

we are reg office near home, we aren't religious so church was a no no, we didn't pick a venue due to cost as we budgeted £1000 so its reg office afternoon bbq in brothers garden with 48 ceremony guests then we have booked a hall walking distance from brothers for evening 120 guests buffet and disco etc x
so yeah just make list of what you both like even do one each and see what is most important to you both then go from there x

we considered getting married abroad as well but decided against it as my grandparents are too old to come and we couldnt bare to leave them out. so then we started looking at venues in this country. we are not church goers so we looked for venues where we could hold the civil ceremony as well - went to view a few found 'the one' and booked it! getting married in this country doesnt have to be expensive some of the girls on here are doing it for less than 1k xxx
