Just recieved a letter in the post from my grandparents to congratulate us on our engagement, and to offer us a wedding gift of £1000 towards the wedding! So unbelievably chuffed, and super grateful!

Im so grateful to them! my dad is... shall we say... fairly bloody useless and is currently god knows where, swanning around with his new girlfriend. my grandparents knew i was worried about the budget, and that i was pretty sure my dad wasnt going to contribute in any way shape or form.. and then i got this letter. i cant believe it. i burst into tears reading it. they are so amazing! :D

My nannan gave me our wedding present (£500) 5 years ago (when we got a house) cos she thought she'd not be alive by the time we got married! Bless shes still here tho :D..and congrats :) x
