Hi All

I had to share as i'm jst so happy and can't believe how well everything is coming together and what a great year next year is going to be.
As some of you will know my H2B and i have been trying for a baby for 3 years now and were put on the IVF list in December last yr. We then fell pregnant naturally in January however sadly miscarried soon after. We attended an appointment at the fertility hospital in April and were delighted when we were told that we were being kept on the IVF list and that since going on the list it had droppped from a two year wait to 18months. We worked out that this would put as at the top of the list around the time of the wedding in July. I recieved a letter from the hospital today however and it says tht we are due to reach the top of the list between feb and may 2012 which could mean we could be pregnant by the time of the wedding. We are both so happy and can't wait to start a family, hopefully all will go well with the treatment. Who knows i might need to buy a new dress now lol. If anyone has been through similar it would be gr8 to get any info or advice from you. Jst had to share as bursting with joy xx

Exactly what a yr. My H2B comes home in January, H2B leaves the navy in May, wedding in July and now IVF starts between feb and may woop woop xx

Fantastic news!
My boss has been going IVF this year(im a nanny) so i have seen it all happening. Just make sure you take it easy and do everything doctors say. Get lots of dvds for when you have to sit and rest after the embryos go back in.

Cheers Vonny, my wrk know i am on the list and I've email my boss to let him know the update. This way thy have been given as much notice as me and can't complain when I start getting my appointments throu. Think I'm gona be walking on a cloud for the nxt few days hehe xx

Good luck Sarah I know wat it's like going throu the trying. I hate it every month when I realise we haven't managed it again. I'm sure all will go gr8 and ur little one will arrive wen u least expect it xx

Thanks Ladies, the support on here is amazing. Mind u come nxt yr wen I am on hormone treatments u may all get fed up with me moaning, crying and jst being an emotional wreck lol thanks again all xx

and all the moaning, crying and jst being an emotional wreckness is all worth it in the end when you hold your baby in your arms
my baby is 9 months now and I am still an emotional wreck hahaha

KYLEE- it's gr8 to hear of IVF success, hope it's us nxt.
CFOX- what a shame there's no IVF on NHS n Cheshire. The hospital don't know why it's taking us so long althou H2B had a border line count thy said we are unexplained infertility. Move to Scotland. We get two cycles which mean if thy retrieve say 16 eggs n 8 r gd thy will put back two and freeze the rest and thn use thm two at a time. If after the 8 it hasn't worked we get another one try with however many eggs thy retrieve.
WIFEY2BE- H2B was on the Ark and loved it however he is now on the tiny Middleton out in Bahrain until Jan. He's leaving in May thou as he doesn't wnt to b away wen we start a family as he finds it hard enough jst now.

Awwww, yeah they have stopped the IVF in warrington/widnes where I live for the time being, too busy paying for the druggies and alcholics, my HTB has motility sperm no swimmers lol shouldnt laugh but got to try get on with it, I am looking at maybe giving my egg's to other women who dont havew eggs and in return I will get a cycle of IVF, hope all goes well for you hun xxx

ive been trying 3 n half years and no luck been told there was nothing wrong if it hasnt happened by this time next year were paying private

Well we now have more dates :)
H2B gets home in January and the hospital are arranging for our blood tests to be done then. These are tests that everyone gets jst b4 starting treatment to check for hep b, hep c and hiv etc. We have been told our treatment will start in April which means that if all goes well first time around we will be around two months pregnant when we get married, fingers crossed!!

I hate hearing stories like yours Melody and believe me H2B and i know how lucky we r. I hate the lottery tht is the NHS. We have a very good GP too who has supported us from the first appointment we had with him, getting tests done and him refering us. I wish everyone got the option of IVF on the NHS as i know how expensive it is privately. We are also lucky enough to live near one of the top Fertility Centres in the UK. I hope all works out for u Melody and tht it works first time xx
