This is going to sound really silly. We looked through our guests list last night and have come to the realisation that half of our guests are 60yrs +.. I'm worried that my other guests will be bored, our oldest guest will be in his 90's. we do have 40-45 guests under 50 who still party and go out 'clubbing' ( my parents ) which is awesome. I never worried about it un-till last night. is this normal? Am i worrying for no reason. xx

I had a load of older guests at the wedding too, to be honest people like my grandma tended to stick with the older generation and enjoyed the wedding. All i would say is ask the DJ to play a couple of tunes from there era earlier in the night, as like my grandparents they all went to bed about 10.30! then party party ;)

We were at one last weekend with a bunch of olds, which wouldn't have been an issue at all, apart from the dj. Because it was majority olds and the amount of requests he was taking (from the olds) it felt like we were at a birthday bash for someone who was 60 or 70, I wish I was exaggerating as well, but the vast majority of songs were way old, and not cheesy fun old.... It's made me rethink our dj taking any/many requests as I don't want anything like happening at our reception - old people isn't an issue as they can party better than the young uns most of the time, but god.... The music lol

Our DJ lets us put a ban on certain songs. No cheesy rubbish or old stuff x
