what are you having? i haddnt really thought of it, but my MIL yesterday said she would like me to try on her Tiara and Veil - i thought "oh god :S" because i cannot say no!!!! lol one of my many flaws! lol so i thought i was gonna end up with a really old fashioned Veil and Tiara :S well i tried em on and awwwwwww i loved em!!! the Veil does need a good wash n iron! lol but it is beautiful! and the Tiara is really delicate gold with lil pearls on - nothin ott - exactly what i wanted!! :D so i have my something borrowed!!! :D and she said i can borrow her jewelry - which was her nanas, then her mums, then hers - and that too is just a very simple, delicate pearl necklace, and lil pearl and diamond earrings - so i have something old too!! :D my colours are Ivry and brown, with hints of gold - so these will go wont they??

My jewellery etc is new, I have my Nannie's wedding ring which I wear every day anyway, my tiara is borrowed from my daughter in law, I have a small blue ribbon on my garter and a I also have a lucky sixpence sewn in my garter xxx

An idea for something blue if you are struggling for ideas is to have a piece of blue thread sewn into the inside of your dress. You could also go as far as having the name of someone you have lost eg a grandparents name, which you want to keep close to you on the day stitched into the hem of your dress. xx

i have a lovely charm, which incorporates all of the something old, something new something borrowed, something blue and a sixpence for my shoe, its small can go in my dolly bag or i can attach it to my bouquet and i can then keep it forever afterwards :)x
