I was just wondering if anyone else was letting their male partner plan the wedding? Peiple think i am but strange letting him take the lead with this, i said i only wanted to find my own dress. He has good taste and makes the financial decisions (he always checks with me but i dont really mind what he does with our money as its always used to better our lives).
Im too scatty and cannot be bothered to look at loads of different options. He shows me his choice n then i say yes or no (nearly always yes). He sorts bookings and payments etc. Its just not my thing!
Anyone else in the same situation? Is it really that weird to not be that interested?
I want a lovely day, i just dont want the hassle of sorting it. X

We're planning the wedding equally, no different from how we plan and do other things in our life (this is a bigger scale of planning though lol)

No I thinkk my partner would be perfectly capable of doing it though and would make great choices but I'm a bit of a control freak lol

I really like it. He does all the leg work n i just say yes to what i like x
LOL Gawd I wish I had that! But if I left it to my lovely man, nothing would be sorted until the week before the wedding haha

Thats what we do, ilwe discuss what we want, I do the leg work and come up with options and pass them by him and then we decide. Apart from my dress he has been involed in everything!

We're doing it equally however he's been really organised with some things like the venue, car and photographer but now he's being really slack with getting the suits sorted and the stag do, he says he needs to get help from the best man but I've told him he needs to get his arse in action!

We're trying to do everything equally although sometimes I find OH struggles to make a desicion ie if I show him something/suggest something he dithers and dithers and doesn't really give me an answer about it.
If I thought he could be stronger at making desicions I would quite happily trust him to do it all. He's much better with money than me so he would probably check out a lot more options/do more research whereas I'm just quite happy to just book things as soon as I find one I like.

A friend of mine and his wife couldn't agree on what they wanted for their wedding. So they did a kind of don't tell the bride. He arranged everything. His wife stayed with her parents for 3 entire weeks before the wedding. They went dress shopping both on a different day but they picked the same dress, vail and shoes. It turned out amazing. My H2B and I on the other hand are doing everything together except the DIY thats all down to me but thats fine :).
