i have to rant on here so sorry all but as i have said i wont be bridezila lol. My dresses for 5 flower girls 5 brides maids finally turned up at the shop 2 weeks late as from previous topic some may remeber , we had the dresses measured to fit they told us at the shop if any small alterations needed it was £20 per dress big alterations were 40 max , but since made to measure and dresses already cost £135 did think we would need any unless weight change .took 2 maids the othere day and the dresses have al come at least 3/4 meter longer than the girls so they expect me to pay 20 pound per dress then if straps need alterd another 8 pound is it me or when u pay over 1000 pond for dresses u eexpect them 2 fit i have took dresses and tried to find otheres to do them but proving a bit mad xxx please terlll me i am right to be stressesd a little x

Yes you are definitely right to be stressed if they were "made to measure" they should fit with no additional alterations needing donne (unless like you say someone loses/gains weight) I would definitely kick up a fuss and insist they sort them for free, they've offered you a service and not upheld their end of the bargain. If there was a "right time" to be a bridezilla now is that time xXx

What a cheek to say you have to pay for alterations when they said it was made to measure. Are you telling me there is a shrinking bug going around lol x x x Be angry I would

i would be mad especially if they "made to measure". i hav been lucky with mine, my MIL2B bought them for us frm bhs on a 20% day and then got her staff discount so got them ded cheap. only 2 of them needed taking in an up and i was quoted at least £50 each, but a friend recomended a lady and she only cherged me £30 for both of them (but i gave her 40 cos she did an amazin job). i know u havent got long til ur wedding but it is worth asking around. good luck i hope u get sorted xx

Made to measure means exactly that - I'd be seething - especially with only a few days to go!!
This is one of those times where I WOULD be a total Bridezilla, I'd get all the paperwork for the dresses, march down to the shop, thrust the paperwork into the manager's hands and say......
"As you can plainly see, MADE TO MEASURE dresses. They shouldn't need altering, you either do it free of charge OR I'm going to report you to the local chamber of commerce AND trading standards"

I hope you get it sorted out!
And good luck for this weekend, I hope it's better than you ever imagined it could be :) xxx

    It's right what they say
"The course of true love never runs smoothly"
But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D
