Last night my mum phoned me to ask what me and david will be doing after the wedding - my reply was nothing.. and that david will probably be back at work on the monday!
Anyway, she said that my dad had suggested about paying for my wedding dress as it was double what i wanted to play within my budget but my mum though that by paying for the wedding dress would be a present to just me and so they have suggested paying for us to stay in a hotel for a week! Me and David have always gone to Blackpool for a mini break so they have booked us into a 3* hotel in Blackpool for a whole week! And they are paying for it.
My mum has even said she will drive us to Blackpool the day after the wedding to take us there without any stress! Im so overwhelmed at such a thoughtful present! Me and David are sooo excited! :)

Awww that's so sweet, you are very lucky to have such thoughtful parents. We are only getting 2 days together at home after we get married but are planning a cheap honeymoon the 1st 2 weeks in August which is when Mark has 2weeks off uni. Our budget is getting less and less so we won't be able to afford what we really wanted but it will still be lovely to get away, just the two of us.
