Right, I have an implant in and when I got it I asked Ben if we could start trying for a baby when it runs out (next November). He said yes but when I asked him about it a few months ago he said he wasn't sure.
Well now it seems he's done a complete U-Turn!! We were talking about 2 of our friends who are both heavily pregnant and I jokingly said that I wanted one right now. He looked at me so seriously it kind of scared me and said "We can't afford the wedding AND a baby so you have to pick one" :O I was actually speechless!! I asked if he was serious and that if we called off the wedding we could start trying for a baby and he said yes!! Took me a couple of minutes to regain my composure. Lol. Have never thought that hard that quickly in my entire life. My mind was reeling like mad! But I said that I want to get married to him first. But we have made an agreement that we will have kids by the time we're 30 (7 years away)!!
Feel like I'm on cloud nine! I was always dubious about whether he wanted kids, and now I know he does I couldn't be happier!! Even his snoring isn't annoying me as much tonight!!

That is lovely, but good choice to get married first, one of the reasons we didn't end up getting married in July like we were meant to was because i had not long had our baby and they cost more than you think, lol. But so happy for you, that at least you definitely know that there will be a mini you or mini him running about your house within the next 7 years or so. Keep smiling! :) xx

that is the same decision we made, I had had my implant removed and we were trying for a baby when h2b proposed, when i came on i sat him down and asked him to make a decision with me to keep trying or go on the pill till after the wedding, as having already had 2 children i was worried for our "freedom" regarding wedding and honeymoon and also cost etc... so we have decided now to wait until after the wedding.

Glad you didn't call off the wedding. He's obviously keen on having a family and he'll probably come round to the idea more quickly once you're husband and wife. x
