    good luck to you!

I already have my dress and it is slightly too big which isn't an issue at the moment buuut i wasn't expecting sl1mm1ng w0rld to be as effective as it is, if i do end up losing more than i expected does anybody know how much a zip up dress can be altered? x

With your dress, I am sure they take it in on the side seam so that shouldn't be a problem. My alterations are included with the price of my dress and they were bout £250 but my friend went to a local lady who does altering and it cost about £50 which was really reasonable, It took a little longer but still worth looking locally. Nice problem to have though :)

I just hate that it has taken me 3 weeks to lose 4lb then I put it all on in about an hour!! Hey ho, new year new start and all that plus the countdown with only 341 days left on the side of my screen helps!!

yes if i was making the dress bigger i think i'd be less happy about spending the money ahaha

yes that count down and knowing the wedding is this year really does give you a nice push doesnt it!

I'm sure you will lose it again in no time and you will be glad that you enjoyed christmas and still managed to get where you want to be :) x

Just got to do it and not talk about it :)

And also look at baby steps, every pound at a time, half stone rather than a massive 5 stone :)

Good luck to us all I say :)

yep i agree, i was gifted a 2017 pocket calendar for xmas which i carry in my bag and i've marked off smaller goals that i wan't to be at rather than thinking of the end goal straight away.

I am also using it as a food and weight loss diary that way I can see if i have a gain on any week what went wrong or if i have a good loss what i did.

I was slightly concerned that I was starting to put the weight back on that I had lost, made a good effort but working nights you tend to start eating rubbish, weighed myself yesterday and lost it all which was about 7lbs. Bonus. Back on track, and seeing as lost that it makes me think I could lose another 7lbs easy enough. Probs won't though.

Hi ladies, now that "our year" has arrived it's shocked me into realising that I really need to do something about losing weight!! Ideally, I need to lose 3 stone before the wedding, but I'd be happy with 2 I think. I just can't get motivated though - hopefully you can help there lol! Not helped by the fact that I've had a continual headache for the past week, which I'm hoping is residue of a cold that just isn't clearing...if it hasn't gone by tomorrow I'll book a doctors appointment. Very frustrating as it's hindering my exercise regime and then I overeat, it's a vicious circle :-(

Just catching up on here as haven't been on for a couple of weeks. Well done Kaylie for getting rid of the Christmas gain I put 5lbs over the 2 weeks but missed weigh in last week so when I go Saturday I'm keeping everything crossed it has all gone (it will have been 2 weeks since my last weigh in). I can't believe how close you are to that stone award - must be in the bag for next week :)

I probably should start doing some exercise at some point, was looking in the mirror the other day and could see a bit of arm flab lol got some toning before the big day but I do still have over a year so I'm not putting too much pressure on myself x

Put on about 5lbs over the Christmas period and think I may have another gain on Thursday. Have been trying to be good this week but keep slipping - bumped into a friend today so had cake, of course!

Hopefully will just be a maintain on Thurs *crosses fingers* Them I'm on it like Gromit.

So I had a dilemma at the gym yesterday. I had my swimming costume on already and went into the gym, thought I felt the arm of my costume come down but turns out it snapped!! Luckily my gym has a small selection of costumes but I had left my purse at home as well. Had to beg them to let me take the costume, leave my phone with them so I can do my class then go home get my purse. Oh my and then on top of that the teacher was in reception so gave me a few joking digs. On the plus side my new costume is way more supportive when you jump out of the water if you get what I mean :)

I also take this as a plus to my dedication, back in the day I would have gone home but I am proud for sticking to my plan :)

Good luck with your weigh - ins this week ladies

Emily I find mfp works quite well- it makes me feel guilty when I go over and I'm definitely more aware of what I'm eating. You can also sync it with any activity tracker you have like runk€€p€r or f!tb!t etc

Relatively happy today as actually managed to lose 1.5lb considering I've been eating naughty this week! Hoping to get back on the exercise wagon this week and see some bigger losses next weekend.

Well done on the losses last week girls. I weighed in on Sat having missed it last week and lost 5lbs which is all the Christmas/new year gain gone so back on track to be losing some now. My weight may be the same as it was start of December but I've noticed such a difference in my clothes fitting. Going to have do some retail therapy soon as they are all baggy and don't fit well now so happy that the inches are disappearing as well as the lbs :) x
