Carl cost me £40 and it as been the best £40 I have every spent. After spending christmas all alone in 2008 I decided to join singles 365 for 3 months after about 6 weeks of talking to different men that led to nothing Carl contacted me I was unsure about replying as he was 4 and a half years younger than me and looked so young but something kept nigging at me and I decided to message him back after 2 days. Carl and I just sent a few messages to each other though the site then started to chat on msn often for 4 or 5 hours one night we were even on there from 6.30pm til 2.30am talking about anything and everything we did not want to finish chatting but were both tired out the next week we both had a same day off so we arranged to meet in Lincoln it was a warm March day last year we were going to go to the cinema or may b bowling but in the end we were both content with just walking and talking until we got hungry then we had a steak meal the food was not up to much but the company more than made up 4 it we did not want the date to end and were soon planning more dates.
Carl and I got a ring holder small photo frame large photo frame / album and a bottle of bubbly all for filling a prize draw slip in at the Petwood wedding fair on the 26th of September 2010 I have put the picture on my photos.

they have brought a new style out for xmas maggie and at full price it is £46 for the whole lot but as you have time i would wait until after xmas and check the sale then as they clear them out so they are not stock holding

My biggest bargin was probably my dress as I got it for £299 what it was supposed to be £799! But as for smaller bargins there are loads. I got 4 fancy wine glasses for £5 from morrisons which I have filled with coloured stones and flowers as centre pieces for the reception. I think they look really good.
I have also got cufflinks for the groomsmen from ebay for 1p! (4.99 postage but still a bargin)

I got a pair of Reebok Easy Tone trainers half price from Next online! They were originally £75. Also got a fab maxi dress for the beach on honeymoon for a tenner! whoop!
Also bough my candle centrepieces from Markies website, they are big hurricane vases filled with sand and an ivory pillar candle inside. Half price at £7 each! yay.

My dress was £35.00 from bay of e, its a forever yours dress never worn. My bridesmaid dresses were £15 each from bay of e normally retail @£200 per dress, bridesmaid shoes were £2 per pair, wrist corsages for the bridsmaids were £2.50 each. With all the fantastic deals we are finding we will have more to spend on a honeymoon!

My H2B was reading this thread and he says our biggest bargin is our wedding! We got a deal were we get a room for me to get ready, ceremony and dinner for 50, evening reception for 80, stay overnight in the penthouse with its own spa, place cards, menus and table plan printed, table decorations, a toast master and a whole team of people to set up and take care of us! every time we ask people how much they say about £8000, but it is only £2500 and is the most beautiful place! Just hate we have to wait till 12-12-12 to get married now! Bx

Got lots of bargains so far for our wedding. My dress was reduced to £199 from £695 as it was the display dress. My sister is going to do the alterations for me (taking it in and up) for free. Got my shoes free from my friend who got married last year and is the same size shoe as me! My sister is also setting up her own cake making business and is making our cake for free. We're getting married in Vegas, but having a reception do back here the month after. We booked through Virgin and upgraded to the Four Seasons for the final two nights of our stay there, which worked out cheaper than the other hotel we were going to book! Because of this, we've been given comp access to the V Lounge in Gatwick before our flights. We paid for the deposit on virgin credit card so we could get the 10% discount they offer, but the rest of it doesn't need to be paid on the card at all! We're having colour-co-ordinated crackers instead of favours at the reception and I picked these up for £4 a box of 12 before Xmas, so will just need to get sugared almonds to pop in them now. I'm not really into flowers so I'm having crystals and feathers instead, which my mum is doing for table decs and my bouquet wich is proving loads cheaper than fresh flowers.

MIL2B making wedding cake SIL2B lending us the fish bowls and mirrors she used for her wedding. £3.99 for 100 organza bags off bay of e lots of good bargains on there :-)
