Actually, wanted to ask, what's your view on second hand baby stuff? Clothes I'm cool with as they can be put through a hot wash but things like moses basket and pram/pushchair I'm worried about cleanliness or safety. I know car seats are a definite no no.

Am I being fussy? I wouldn't want something my baby when we ever have one if we ever have one could catch something from.

Moses basket cot pram all new second hand clothes ok but for your first spoil yourself n the baby 1st born always treat!! xxx

I can't believe your at your 20 week scan already Kel your pregnancy flying by to me it feels like only Yesturday you announced it I want Monday&Tuesday to hurry up so I can have my scan very exciting

I have a healthy 10week and 4day old baby today I'm not quite 12 weeks so I wasn't able to have the full scan check the baby's heart spine brain wtc il being bought back in next week from 11weeks we should be able to see baby measuring 36cm and needs to be 46cm so we're back again next week sorry didn't post up Yesturday I heard his or her lil heartbeat 169beats per min amazing and so small moving and kicking about didn't like the intra sound head interfering in his or her sleep was amazing I'm in a world of my own atm thank you for all the love ladies Xxx

Had my flu injection today, got my whooping cough one booked in for just after new year x

I know my Mini Deaton so Id Bid My due date is 31st May 2015 but it may change with my next scan next Thursday as baby two small not 12 weekss yet so unable to do the full intensive scan but should be able to next week wish me luck

I've never had the flu jab till this year only getting it coz me pregnant and flu serious in pregnancy will get it in two weeks time probably in my 13th week xxx

I will definitely get it at 12weeks or after at 13/14 weeks will call me doctors to book it in once I reach 12 weeks xxx

My Doc n midwife just mentioned me too get the jab from 12weeks haven't been told to wait till 20 weeks Xxx

It must be different at different docs and hospitals with the midwifes I was told get the flu vaccine from 12weeks not before 12 weeks as baby deffo on his or her way xxx

We have the shelf from the bottom set can't wait for it all to come

Well we just put everything on the order and paid a £200 deposit so we're paying some off on each pay day, and tbh my dad is buying the pram so that's saving us the £750, my dad bought my pram with all of them, had a new one each time x

Think my parents in law are buying a lot of the accessories like the bedding and decorations, curtains etc but we've just said we're gonna put them all on the order and ppl can go in and pay whatever on it

When I eventually by my bits I'm buying online like new things on 3Bay a Moses basket I love brand new condition not used and hoping online will save me money and maybe @rgos too have looked at m0th3rc@r3 haven't looked at m@m@s & p@p@s as yet as I have time but I'm looking around get an idea for things one thing I will defo say baby aren't cheap and going to spend thousands when the baby is born and continue too xxx

Yeah I deffinatley will be having a baby shower mil has made about 3crouchered blankets and is knitting a cardigan and hat and mitten bootie set and will be knitting a lot more and baby grows so will have a lot of hand made soft wool for baby to wear in its first few months and as he/she gets older
For me I have no idea whether parents will chip in to buy things but I shall see I know my bet friends I considered sisters will want to spoil the baby xxx

Most things online are the same price in shops anyway, we were given all online deals when buying in shops as brands aren't allowed to differentiate between costs they have to charge the same across the board. Plus I like to see things built up in person, you can't tell if you like it from a picture x

There's lots of generic and gender neutral things.

I do like neutral hand knitted cardigans though x
