so was due a visit friday. still nothing now. last month i was 2 days early and usually im 5 days late (bizarre i know) so dont know whether to attempt another test or just forget about it and move on.

So, lovely day today! Not. Sis messaged me telling me that niece has come out in chicken pox spots. We had looked after her less than two weeks ago so was pretty worried. Turns out, if you have had chicken pox before, everything should be fine. But it was recommended that I have my antibodies checked, just in case. So off I toddled to hospital, ready for a blood test. Another one...

So few weeks ago, I had a test in hospital, and the midwife literally shoved the needle in my arm with so much force. I have very dry excema on my arm, so it was very sore. Today, a different nurse slipped the needle in quite nicely, but also hit into a nerve, which was extremely sore! So needless to say I have an even stronger aversion to blood tests now and really don't want anymore... Got one on Thursday for my 28 week bloods

I know that I have a lot worse to go through with labour, but this was extremely painful. Who said pregnancy was a delight? Cause mine certainly hasn't been!

Bump has officially become huge, it's past my boobs now :-(

We may have to put our plans on hold for a few months ladies as I've been offered a new job and I can't be pregnant before I start as it'll affect maternity pay. Mixed feelings!

Ah that's defo a mixed situation to be in! But congrats on the job offer ! As lea said... Will definitely be worth it in the long run! And the break from trying and focusing so much on that may do you good!!! xx

We will have to use contraception. Mat allowance isn't enough for us. I'll need the occupational mat pay as well as SMP .

It'll be a huge drop in income for us if I don't get some occupational mat pay. Even SMP isn't enough. 1 week SMP is about 1.5 days pay for me so we can't afford to take that big a drop.

28 days today dunnoe whether to get my hopes up that my period be late and I find out I'm pregnant or too think when will I next get my period coz of 3months previous no period dunnoe how to think but me at work so I guess that should keep me busy and occupied

Erm, I'm due on today and nothing yet. I'm likely to be late given I can be up to a week late on occasions.

Just thought, I think I know why I'm not on yet. I've been on this 30 day eat clean diet since 1st April, only 5 days away now from the end. Don't your cycles get affected by diet changes etc?

I had a period end of March for 4days lulu and still no ain't flow I'm about 4days late I think or 5 and no I haven't taken a test I am wondering is it my body tying to regulate itself or isit me working and I under extra stress etc so many possibilities to think off but eke hoping I am Indeed pregnant fingers n toes crossed brides and wife's

IDL probs has something to do with your new diet...but stress wise I meant with the whole ttc will have put some underlying stress on you & could be a reason why not on time but as you mentioned completely new diet at moment that cud be the cause.

If your routine has changed MrsD2be and job/stress/readjustment all in one.... Who knows. Only been 4-5 days so see how you go.

As for me ladies I'm now 3wks late....4 tests and 4 negs later (I know I'm not I'm doing them to keep mrd sane!) I know my diet has been all over place plus stress / ill will all contribute to its wackiness..... Or my pills finally kicked in 9 m later and finally stopped them altogether! Xx

I'm not ttc at the moment IDL!!! And if it was positive then my pill I've taken religiously for the past 4-5 years has obv got an issue!! Haha. I came on here few wks back asking advice as had some dodgy / confusing bleeding but hasn't happened since & now obv 3 wks late not quite sure but I'm prone to stress / diet messing up my af so am assuming it's that or this pill I've been on for past 8 months has finally stopped them completely which it shud of done in the first place! I just want af to come now as got a holiday in 3-4 wks and do not want af accompanying me whilst away!! Xx

My thoughts exactly lea!! I can't work out what it's doing but gonna give it another wk or two to make an appearance then if nothing I'll defo be getting some of those tablets!! No way does af want to be around in Florida no no!! Xx

Still no af and lulu u feel like no matter what I'm always stressed stressed when I'm not working stressed when working I can't win also I'm hoping I am pregnant if not I will just be upset as usual dunnoe whether to get a test coz at work I've been very very tired like I've never been before I feel I'm just so tired no energy etc wondering if I am or not as I'm sure I'm not usually this tired and hurting this bad well my legs and feet
No pains no blood no back ache no Salt cravings so yea me nono
Hopefully next time IDL we will hear their will be a mini dream land on his or her way

Mine was feeling sick just looking at a bag of chicken wings lol. I still wasn't able to eat chicken wings till 2 weeks ago! THEN it was the smell of food cooking sent me nauseous.

Have you tried going for a massage lulu? I find if I'm stressed and late on that relaxes me and then I come on, my friend finds this helps too.

Lana, as I have said to idl before STOP OBSESSING! It'll only make things worse! You need to stop actively trying and just literally go with the flow. Your body is put under extra stress everytime you think "I have to be pregnant" "am I or aren't I?" And then you're causing undue upset everytime you have a negative. As you have just over a year to the wedding too, you have extra stress! It took me a over a year after coming off the pill. Your body needs to regulate itself after all those extra hormones! There is NO RUSH! Just enjoy the experience of ttc, instead of giving yourself limits and deadlines etc

Nina and MrsMann I try to not stress and are you saying wait till I'm officially off the pill for a year till will try to ttc??a few more months till I've been of the pill for a year August 7th 2014!! Be a yr!!
I guess I forget about the pressure I put on myself work wedding and ttc is a lot of stress on me I guess I literally need to put it to the back of my head which I can but when my period due my head goes nuts but forgetting about something you long for is easier said then done need to occupy myself nonstop wedding bits to keep me busy and forget about a mini dm and starting a family instead focus on becoming a wife being a Mrs

I'm not saying wait a year to ttc, I'm saying keep ttc, just don't be ACTIVELY trying! Just have fun without protection. Just like labour, pregnancy will happen when it happens. I know it's easier said than done, lea and I have both been there! But we're trying to help you.

Yeah, I know :) lol. Was just trying to reiterate what I've said lol

So with just over 9 weeks to go, my doctor has recommended early maternity leave for me :( Bubba has shifted his weight in some way and is causing some chronic back pain and as my job is a very active job, I'm not able to fill my duties properly. So now, instead of having just 4 weeks, I'm having 9 weeks prior to the birth. Really NOT impressed, as I wanted to work for as long as possible to stop the time dragging, but mine and bubba;s health is more important!

That's if you're working til the end I mean, with my eldest I planned to work til the week before,but then 3 weeks before I had a drop in blood pressure and was off for a day,so had to star maternity early x
