I think I saw on here that ' Kisywisy' was having a wedding reception at a villa in cyprus. Im gettin married 7th June 2013 and hoping to hold a intimate reception at the lux villa we're renting during our stay. Is anyone else doing the same, has anyone advise for me on caters, table/chair hire, entertainment ie. greek dancing act etc etc?? xx

Tbh I wouldnt bother hun maybe book the actual wedding and photogapher through her but you can find your own hair makeup etc thats what im doing x

Could you not go direct with hotel, as im going direct with hotel that has there own wedding planner, there isnt a charge for her as thats her job, all the things she does there isnt a charge for only things i pay for is the photo;s flowers, cake and ect.

B2B13 they all speak english in the town halls, remember the full service is done in english :)

GEMMA i'm having a bbq at the villa and we had decided we wanted to have a bbq very early on. it's going to be a relaxed wedding and wanted a relaxed bbq to match. if we get a good price for the resaurant next to the town hall, this could change, but i doubt it :)

ALISON yes, we're having a bbq reception at our villa. the villa owners offer this as a service, so we don't need to get caterers in. i went MAD trying to find outside caterers. i couldn't find any!!!

where are you getting married?? if you want to have things like that at your villa, i would really suggest going with a wedding planner, as they may be able to get contacts for you. failing that, you could go to a restaurant/traditional taverna which offers the kinda stuff you're looking at

Personally if its no refunds i would stay away, you would only be covered on paypal if its not as described etc but if you simply dont like it, i doubt paypal would become involved x

my cake is only 2 tiers too

either they have bumped me or they've reduced their prices. just gone onto their website and the simply white cake is only 155 euros and i'm sure it was more than that when i ordered. hmm.....
