99% packed! We had a last minute scare last night as my son was at a friends party and my son...the cautious, afraid of heights, one fell down a 10ft bank. He was in A&E for 3 hours but luckily nothing broken just a big long scratch on his posterior and a few bruises to his back. He's fine and he can't wait to tell everyone at school!

We leave in the morning, quite happy that all the wedding items fit in one case. Hopefully I may get on here once or twice while I am over there.

We have been married a week today omg its flown by!! Off to the windmill again tonight for a meal, its amazing!!!!

Hello lades just thought I would pop on but forgot we are 2 hours ahead so theres no one around.
Well I'm off to Daniela today for eyebrows/eyelashes, a set of acrylic nails (my nails were great till it came to pulling our luggage off the carousel) I was going to have a pedicure but I had a little accident yesterday banging my foot and now my little toe is very bruised and tender....so having a facial instead. Daniela and Maria are comng to the villa toorrow to do my hair/make up and my mums so we can sit back and try to relax then. lol

Just been for a swim as it's hot and it's only 7am. I broke down in tears at Gatwick as our bestman posted the weeks weather on FB and for Paphos it had heavy rain and lghtning for Thursday! I was a complete wreck. I made Steve go through every weather report and they all said the same. Most now say sun, sun, sun, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.
We went to Paphos town hall on Monday to pay and make it offcial. I must say the experience wasn't what I imagined. I was hopng we may get a tour and time to ask questions. When we got there however at 8.30am theres was already a couple before us. We queued to go into this small office, when we went in it was very rushed. We gave details, ie religon, job, mother/father's name. Then we paid checked details and times and that was it. When we walked out of the office there was around 14 other couples in a queue waiting. So if going to the Town Hall make sure you get there early as the part for registering for weddings is only open between 8.30am - 10.30am mon-fri We still ddn't get to see where we were getting married and with it being so rushed we forgot to give them the CD with our choice of music on.

My only regret so far for us with having 40 guests and so many different elements to the day is, we wish we had booked the wedding for our second week here. It took us a day or two to find our feet and Monday we spent all day on appointments with Town hall, photographer, cake maker, dj, florist, yacht company and evening reception. We were non stop till gone 7pm. We were shattered!

Nerves are holding up so far even though my Uncle who lives in Paphos has been changing wedding plans around and inviting extra guests that we only found out about last night!! grrrrr
Both sets of familes met up Monday night at a restaurant in the town......we didn't realise it was karoake night there, but it turned out great as it couldn't have been a better ice breaker and we laughed all night as different family members got up to sing after several drinks. So I have some great memorable moments already.

Well off to wake up my soon to be husband, as we have a few things left to do before I go to Daniela. Speak soon. xxxx

i am NOT getting married in 3 months. i feel sick reading that

we've still got 2k to pay for the cyprus wedding. actual vomit

as much as i am bricking it, i know we do have options if we don't manage it in time. h2b's best man has offered to lend us money (which is awesome of him. he's a great guy), but it would mean that we wouldn't see all our wedding gift money as we'd pay best man back. which is better than going without for the wedding day i suppose!! we don't want to do that though.

h2b is working 6/7 days a week at his normal job, then his ebay business every night and now he's doing homers. plus, i've got 4 pairs of shoes to encrust, so that's bringing in some money too :D fingers crossed!!

Im sure you will hun! Why dont you do a couple of pairs of shoes with crystal heels and put them on ebay?!

I was thinking of doing it myself but Im feeling lazy at the moment so cant be bothered.. hehe If you sell them cheaper than all the others (but still high enough to make a profit) your bound to have a good few sales x

the wedding in paphos is absoloutly awful today, very much like nglish rain but still warm.. i had to get a taxi to the harbour which is waking distance from us because it was so bad and i wanted to go shopping haha its not too bad now though!!

Im so pleased your going to the windmill melissa, we went back there last night its amazingggg!!!!!
