Got off the phone with the wedding planner this evening and shes emailed the town hall with our date/time 4pm oct 16th 2013 at the Dome beach hotel. she said she will get a confirmation from her either monday or tuesday depending how quick she gets through her emails and will forward the confirmation email!!! EEKKKK!!!!!

Oh news of the week, we received two acceptance cards. One from my Grandmother and the other from my Aunt, Uncle and cousin. So that's a couple of cards in the memory box. I'm off work this week and gave been having a clear out and listing everything on the bay. So far listed 74 items. Really bizarre stuff too, like an empty iPhone 4 box which has got 5 watchers already! I figure even if everything only goes for 99p that's £74 in the wedding fund and the house cleared out a bit!

I know charges suck but really it's all stuff that normally would have gone to the charity shop or tip so any money made is a bonus. Already had an offer of £40 on a netbook that I stood on and smashed the screen! It's just been sat in a cupboard for 8 months so that's a bonus.

We didn't bother with save the dates, just jumped straight to invites which gives everyone plenty of time to save and plan where to stay. We got ours off vis ta print, really nice and dirt cheap. If we'd had more money I saw some gorgeous flight ticket styles but the lady that made the ones I liked best charged £130 for 20 invites! They were beautiful though.

I saw the passport ones too. Very cool. How many are you thinking will make it?

Woo hoo in the 300s Gemma! Exciting. I'm at 305 at the moment so looking forward to the 200s.

I was looking at some beachy drown the gown shoots on the Internet earlier and Rob looked over my shoulder and started looking too. He said he loved the pictures of couple lying down in the surf having a snog and that we should do the same. I told him I couldn't bear to ruin my dress but I loved the photos so he's said he will buy me china copy of a dress similar to mine as long as its under £100 and we can do this! My MOH is an amateur photographer so he said we could get her to do the pictures. Should be fun!

We're budgeting for 20 too. We have a couple of extra people who have said they will come but without trying to sound horrible they are the kind of people to say they will do something but then at the last minute realise they haven't saved any money and drop out, if they can make it that will be great and won't break the budget but I'm not holding my breath.

A little bit of news. Found out today my MOH is pregnant! Very happy for her and thankfully the timings work out so they will still be able to come to the wedding and the new baba too.

This news has totally kicked my baby making gene into overdrive and when I got home today Rob and I talked about it and I said that I wanted one! Cut a long story short we have decided that a week before we go to Cyprus I will stop taking the pill and we will start working on making a baby! Yay!

So now I have 3 amazing things to look forward to: birth of MOH's baba, wedding, and hopefully getting up the duff myself!

Oh we went into BHS today and they had new born flower girl dresses so I have told MOH that she has to have a girl so I can buy her a pretty dress!

I've heard that when you have been trying for a while sometimes the stress can make things hard. My friend had trouble and as soon as they decided to take a break, bang she was pregnant. I'm predicting a nice relaxed loved up honeymoon conception for you!

Aww hun glad things seem 2 b getting there!! no how u feel regarding losing jobs i lost mine in a round about way in may!! Been so hard finally 5 months later found something!!

wedding plans r fine got dress favours h2b wedding rings thank u gifts for bridesmaids reception venue paying off flights hotel n wedding.. so not 2 much 2 get little bits trying to focus on xmas too which is always stressful Lol

It was great choosing the rings! In true male fashion though Rob found his in the first shop we went in and I had to go to every jewellers in Exeter before I was sure on mine! I can't wait til we can pick them up so I can see them again!

Spent last night trying to get all our paperwork organised. Had to order both our birth certificates as parents no longer have them, get Robs adoption certificate and a copy of his deed poll, thankfully I'd already gotten a copy of his decree absolute so hopefully in a few weeks we will have all the bits of paper we need!

Flights are also booked now, just need to get Rob a new passport as his runs out in Feb. I'm a bit gutted as I only updated mine last year and it sucks that you have to pay full price to change your name on them, looks like I'll be travelling under my maiden name for the next 9 years! :-(

Natalie - I haven't been to the Olympic Lagoon but I hear really good things. What are they offering for the reception? Our reception costs are £47 euro a head for a 4 course meal and coffee. We're only having 20 guests so not having any entertainment at all. Anyone not staying at the hotel can pay 40 euros on the day to get an all inclusive wristband for drinks etc, our guests will pay for that themselves though.

GOT my dress and shoes now thank god!
booked photographer made favours and got my venue 35 euros pp thats with meze and bb q and drink package also booked the dj!
all my guests have now booked so got 25 coming!! so happy with that! :-)
