Thanks Emz, I will have a look and see what I can find. I have found some lovely pictures of Fan art as well so I will test them out a bit closer to the time and see what looks best.

I had not thought about button tops for the morning off such a great tip. I have today ordered some personalised dressing gowns and slipper sets for the morning off and the card and envelopes for my day invitations. I need a distraction from all the food and drink around as I am joining Sl1mm1ng Wo3ld on Saturday in order to try a lose a bit of weight before going dress shopping next year. Planning on shopping in April but I keep seeing nice photos of dresses as I follow some of the shops on FB so it is getting more and more tempting to go in and try some :) x

A long shirt had crossed my mind for getting ready.

Been to see my Nan today, came home with a collection of jam jars ready to decorate after Christmas.

Talked to OH about getting the dress for my bridesmaid. He's all "are you sure you want to get it so early?" I think I actually laughed out loud. Really didn't mean to... honest.

My OH was like that to start with he was like we don't need to do anything now do we? I burst out laughing but after booking a few suppliers he has realised that we can do most things as early as we like.

I don't think my OH even knows what is and isn't booked, he has just left me to get on with it, as long as hit bits are left, best man, suits etc then he is happy.

I did explain it to him that if we see things that will fit in with themes and colours etc we need to get it there and then otherwise it might not be there closer to the time. He understood then

Loving that the favours are in a clear pocket. Makes them look very tempting. I can imagine that they'll look even better once the ribbon etc is on it.

I've added a line for my P1ntr3st on to my profile, if any of you lovely ladies want to have a nose. Feel free to follow me too :)

I'm trying sitting in a chair right now, so fed up of lounging around. Resting is not all it's cracked up to be!

I've found a glass dome this morning on a well-known craft shop website with 20% off, so ordered that for the centre piece on the Disney table. Making life difficult for myself and making each centrepiece different for the theme of the tables. Luckily we shouldn't have too many tables for the wedding breakfast. 5 at the most. So hopefully won't be too much work!

They are awesome Lynsey, proper princess shoes! I need to find some. Not sure where to get pretty flat shoes from. Me and the OH are the same height, don't want to be taller than him on the day. Plus, I have very weak ankles, would be turning my foot over all day in heels!

They are fairy tale shoes! I'm in love! My lovely fiancé bought them for me.

    I'm short so need heels.

They are a little tight at the moment, will have to break them in over the next year. The next size up would have been far too big. Will need to persevere for a little while I stretch the shoes out. It's just tight on one toe! Argh! Will need to get a second pair of shoes for later in the evening.

Went to a wedding fayre with my mum today. She got a little carried away and booked a photo booth. It wasn't in the budget at all but mum said she will pay. It will be fun. We get 3 hours, unlimited prints, a photo album, and a DVD of recorded messages. It was £395 which is a lot cheaper than others I have seen at fayres.

Do you have an airing cupboard? Stuff the shoes with socks as much as you can and put them in the airing cupboard. The heat helps stretch them out and means you don't have to pace up and down your lounge trying to wear them in. Not as much anyway!

Photobooths are so much fun! Sounds like you got a bargain.

It's definitely worked for some of my shoes in the past, it's the heat of your feet that makes them stretch, so in theory it should be alright! Fingers crossed.

    Hi Ladies,

I am loving all the shoes and favours they all look fab!!! I received my sample pocket fold and had a go at putting a ribbon on it.
Wanted to work out how much paper I would need to buy for things like the order of service etc has anyone made a booklet on publisher before can't get the pages in the right order.

Going to pick up the bridesmaids dresses on Thursday and also have purchased the post box for the cards, managed to find a nice wooden one on amaz0n for 12 so will be painting it and it locks.

Really want to start doing all the little bits now but don't know if I should wait or not.

Plus I have weak ankles, so I'd end up turning my ankle over if I wore heels and falling over going down the aisle knowing my luck lol. I'm looking at ballet flats, rather than sandals. I have put a picture of my shoes on my profile, OH is taller than me as are most people I literally got the short genes in my family but with my shoes I'm almost the same height.

Hey Wizbit, I'm gradually piecing together my invites I will upload a picture when finished, will be a very rough run just to get ideas down, I'm going for a pocket fold and don't have all the bits I need yet but have most so will see how it goes :)

How are you all doing with saving money for the big day.... we aren't doing so well at the moment so really need to get ours bums in gear.

Hope you're getting plenty of practice in those shoes Stacey, they are truly a skyscraper of a shoe. Pretty though!

I'm tweaking my Save the Dates today, OH asked his mum about inviting the extended family and his brother is inviting them, so we will be too. So now we have a list! Now we're just dithering over whether to invite children or not. But we don't need to know that bit for the save the dates, so don't have to make that decision yet!

We've been lucky and had some money from both sides of the family to help out with the wedding. Although I think we only got as much as we did from my parents because my nan sadly passed away in February, so mum had some money from the sale of her house. But I kind of like the idea that it means my nan has a hand in sorting out the wedding even though she's no longer with us. As I'm sure she would have liked to be involved if she were still with us.

I haven't done final budgets for everything, so I think we will need to have some extra money for some of the little bits... I probably should sort that out...

I'm tempted to make them straight away but also torn as I know I've still got ages before they actually need to be issued but I like to be organised ha I'm lucky that my MOH has offered to help as she made her own too as i'm not very crafty x

I'm exactly the same Kathleen, you can make the base of the invites and some of the inserts now and then there are some you can leave till closer to the time. So with ours I won't be able to complete the menu inserts until we have done the tasting but I can do everything else because it won't change. (hopefully)

    Hi All,

I haven't posted in about 2days and I feel as though I have been gone for ages!
Shoes Shoes Shoes is all I can say! Those heels! I wouldn't last an hour...

Save the dates are pretty much completed and I spent the whole of Sunday Pre addressing the xmas card envelopes, I have my reprinted cards from V1$ta arriving tomorrow so I can start filling the envelopes and figuring out how much the postage is going to cost **cringe**

I started a blog today!! which is scary, never blogged before but I have found that I have really enjoyed keeping you guys posted on where I am at with the wedding stuff so thought I could do the same with a blog and just cover whatever I am upto whether it be wedding, weight loss, craft etc. if you fancy a read I would be really appreciative of any feedback as I am a complete noob.. not sure if I am allowed to share on here though so may put the link in my profile.

I am in love with my favors just need to make proper tags, and I have found pics of my invites as I was making the pocketfold outers so that has all been added to albums too!

much love hope all is going well xx

Not much to report here. Busy with work this work, have been coming home absolutely shattered. Hoping to crack on with the mini bunting this weekend. I only have two bunting wreaths to make. My jam jar collection is coming along nicely. Will need to look at lace shortly so I can start decorating those.

I think I will mention to the OH about starting the invite inserts soon. We seem to have so much on right now between work, wedding and children.

The only place that had them was W3d26 and they are currently changing their bridesmaid lines so I have no idea what they will have in when I need them.. Not sure when to buy either as no idea when my sisters will decide to stop growing lol!
My Cards for the STD finally arrived today so I will spend the evening stuffing envelopes with those, I am keeping hold of a few of the save the evening cards as not sure who we will necessarily want there in 2 years time, friends and colleagues could change..

Personally, I wasn't going to bother with save the evening cards at all, just send out evening invites nearer the time. But for the same reason, I don't know who I'm going to want at the reception part yet. People that I'm friendly with right now may have moved on etc by the time that comes around.

We only sent save the day ones out as we haven't really finalised the evening guest lists yet. Plus there may be some we can bump up from evening to day so we kept it quiet that we were issuing them x
