Finally our plans are to start. Other than me sitting at the computwer and suggesting stuff, we are finally taking our first step and are off to see a posible venue. I'm soooo excited.
H2B has just took the kids to the MIL2B and told her what we were doing. Dont think she to pleased. Oh well!!!!!

She wasn't pleased cuz dont think we have the money. Well we dont have the totoal budget saved up but we just pay it bit by bit. She's just never really happy at first, but then she always comes round in the end.
Sadley the place was far to expensive for us. Over 8 grand they wanted. Thats most of are budget!!!!!
But I must say it was beautiful. It was a really really old style black and white building. But they had a marquee ( dont know if spelt right), which is where the breakfast is and then the reception. But the guests can roam aroung the house as well.
It has 6 bedrooms in it which these are all included in the price and they are just fab. But we can not afford that.

hope it goes well. Remember even if u fall in love with it revist at different times of day and diff weather conditions for photo purposes etc.

If I had a suggestion it would be to go armed with your questions - I think there is a thread with some suggestion questions on. Oh and secondly enjoy it, I fell in love with my venue instantly and we just knew it was for us x

I totally agree with Hunny Bunny, that you will know when you find the right one. I would also ask if that is the best price they can offer.

It was a place called Haslington Hall. It was very lovely, and the woman that showd us around was lovel, gave loads of ides of things you could do as well, and I then started to get all excited.
But it was only our first veiwing. She said that if we view a likewise place to this and offer us a better quote, but we prefer it here, then give her a ring and she will see if they can match it.
