Oh no Kat how annoying.

Im good, I have done 5 invitations just another 30 to go and I am feeling exhausted from work. Urggghh now I wish I didnt make my own lol.

My guest list is ever expanding... I really hope people wont be able to make it!

We have 100 spaces but the less there are, the more space we will have to move about. A few people have already said they cant come due to the distance.

I should be making invitations today but caught up cooking lol

My florrest appointment is the 2nd March. I can't wait.

Still not done any invites lol... I will do them after dinner! I bought a new ruler to help me get the bits the right size. The ruler I was using snapped!!!

We are going back to see the venue at the end of next week to sort the menus out and then seeing the vicar on 20th Feb so we can finalise all the details and i can make a start on the invites then. Isn't it exciting girls, less than 39 weeks to go for me woohoo, how does everyone else count it down, days, weeks or months?

Hi All, Im getting married on Saturday 20th October and so far we are getting on pretty well. We have booked the venue and paid the deposit, photographer deposit paid, got my dress and the flowergirl dress, sent out invites, ordered the flowers,got most of the table and rooms decorations and sorted the cake and got the grooms suit!!! Still lots left to do and aside from the deposits a lot left to pay!! Good luck all with your planning, hope it goes smoothly :-) xx

Hi i just searched for this thread cos i wondered if there was one so im super excited now.

Today i bought my dress. It was in the sale so my sister has it at her house now which is super exciting
We have Provisionally booked our venue which is at the doubletree by hilton in aberdeen
We are posting off our deposit to our photograpgher tomorrow well its now today
We have picked out our wedding rings last year so have been paying them up so will finally get them in sept!
I have some bits and pieces for my invites i just need to get some ribbons and sparkly bits so i can start making them

I think thats all so far. Oh we have an appointment to go see the minister on friday so fingers crossed that all goes well

I can't wait to send our invites out and start receiving RSVP's, i've still got this massive fear that hardly anyone is going to turn up... Stupid woman lol.

We received our final draft of our invites today and they've been given the go ahead to get them printed so it shouldn't be too long now until we get them. As its a friend of my Dad who runs the printing company we're also getting them free of charge so thats a BIG relief!!

Registry office is being paid up on Friday when H2B gets paid, i knew there was a silver lining to all the over time he's been doing lately and hardly seeing anything of him! x

I have to get a wiggle on with it Clarabella, my venue want final numbers by April. They are ordering my table plan and table stationary then.

MrsLuker I am hoping some people can't make it, its got out of hand. I only wanted a small wedding 40 people) but it has doubled in numbers (now 82) which has made me go over budget by £3000....

Hi ladies, i'm new to all this! freaking a little bit! We've found our venue but havent booked yet (have an appointment 5th Feb)
We got engaged at christmas so cutting ourselves a little short on time. I'm worried i'll forget stuff :/ we have a co ordinater within our package for the venue, are they helpful?? i'm so excited i cant wait to marry him just really want to feel organised!! x

I have a wedding planner and a master of ceremoneys in our wedding package. I do believe they are helpful because theu will go though every detail right down to table confetti. I found it helpful having a meeting with my coordinator, after I knew what was needed to be done and when for!

I found a hairdresser last night, I have emailed him and I am now waiting for a response.

Make up, cake and flowers have had the deposits paid.

Clarabella. i can relate to that.Whenever i e-mail my co-ordinator myself and my h2b take bets on which of my questions she will choose to answer.If i send her an e=mail asking four questions she will just answer one of them! It is really annoying,i don't e-mail her often as i am aware she is probably busy but sometimes i need to and she herself said that she prefers to be contacted by e-mail.I have tried numbering my questions so that she is aware that she has a certain amount of points to address but that doesn't work.I wouldn't mind but in a face to face situation she is brilliant.I must say however that she always repies really quickly(albeit without answering all my questions!),two weeks to reply to an e-mail is ridiculous! xxx

Clarabella & Poulten bride i feel for you! We havent had any contact yet as we're not actually booked but I hope whoever it is will be like Oct12bride86's co-ordinator. I always always thought if i got married it would be completely chilled but then when u actually start to think about it i get a bit like arrghhhh then have to whhoooosssaa!! (bad boys movie lol)
Now i'm actually planning it i think, i'm only doing this once and its not JUST my day, it's my gorgeous fiance and our families and i want it to be beautiful and special for all of us... October seems so quick, i wish it could all be planned for me then just turn up on the day, like on dont tell the bride! lol

Poulton bride - does she know do u think that she doesnt answer stuff, u should email back sayin thanks for that BUT can you also tell me..... cause your in the habit of leaving stuff out :) but thank you.

Sally h2b says i should keep sending the same e-mail to her until she answers all of my question! I am not sure if she knows hence me numbering the questions last time.I could e-mail her back and say can i refer you back to points 1 and 4 lol!

Sounds yummy i love chocolate,we are having fruit as i am making it myself and do not want to be making it in the week running up to the wedding!I know its going to fly by! Sometimes i am really chilled and think everythings in hand but other days i flap like a headless chicken.I have all the big things sorted Church,Venue,Wedding Dress,Shoesx 2,Veil,Tiara coming in next couple of days,Bridesmaid dresses plus shoes,flowers booked ,DJ and Car but the devils in the detail and its all the little details i am worried about.I reckon that that will be the hard bit! xxx

Ah is he ok with them,they can be a bit scary for little ones can't they .My daughter needed them once when she was little and although it was supposed to be a child friendly one she really didn't like it!

Did the hairdresser get back to you?
Thats my next job to decide whether to get a hairdresser or do my own.I only have short hair so nothing fancy is required but i will have my daughters to do to and hers is waist length and dead straight and she wants curls! xxx

ive still got to find a hairdresser and make-up person hope im not leaving it too late.still not got a theme or colour scheme ....got bridesmaid dresses to find,suits,invites/save the dates to do.the list goes on ! do you send save the dates to people who are only coming to the evening do? im having probs of who to invite to day do as dont want to offend anyone.some people also are expecting to come to the day do...aahh. xx

Oct12 that sounds a good deal with your hairdresser.I am going to talk to my hairdresser when i go next week and see what she suggests-i cannot see the point of me having a 'bridal hair dresser' and paying extra for it when i am not having anything fancy done but it would be nice to be pampered.I was originally going to pop out to my hairdressers with my daughter on the morning of the wedding but as we are now staying at the venue the night before its not practical.
Crikey Marie you better get a wriggle on lol! I didn't send save the dates to people who are only coming to the evening as i didn't want them thinking they were going to be invited to the day too. xxx

I'm so excited, the bridesmaid dresses have arrived at the shop so me and the girls are going for another fitting on the 14th Feb and my mum will be seeing my wedding dress for the first time. I've a feeling it will be an emotional day

oh sally bless you.as you say once you get a venue and date you can crack on with a photographer , dress and all the other bits which is def doable if your oraganised unlike me lol.
