Not on double figures yet :-( I thought I would feel more excited when it got to near the 100 but tbh I'm so bored!!! I've not got much to do and only got money due end of next month so I'm sat around wanting to do stuff I can't lol

Most of the bottles for my centrepiece have arrived and the last lot will be redelivered on Saturday, then I can make a mock-up.

Also, an idea has occurred. A lot of people have a guest book and a photo album. We were planning on giving a few people cameras to take snapshots with, and it occurred to me that a fun thing to have instead of the guest book with be to have little business card sized pieces of paper that people could write a message on, or draw a picture on which would get put with the pictures. It would look a bit like a wedding day scrapbook by the end of it. Sound like a plan?

So i received a letter today saying that my dress is in at the shop already! So excited I want to go try it on so bad! But should i wait? what do you think?

Also, my dad just made a huge difference and has offered to pay the deposit on the reception venue as well as buy my dress for me. It's a huge help and I don't think we would be able to have anything close to what we are without it.

Tomorrow my new bridesmaid is coming over to help with trying to mock up a table centrepiece.

Obsidian i would def want to try it on! Mines been all along as i got a sale dress and its currently 2 sizes too big but im not having my first fitting until beginning of sept!

I have to say though, i will be going back before so i can try my whole outfit on!

And i need to make sure it looks good lol nothing worse than something not quite going!

Off to Brighton/ Crawley today, said i would drop H2b off for a stag in Brighton then go up to Crawley for a family meal for the eve...... only a 3 hour drive ;-s

ive run out of planning stuff to do! Any ideas on how to fill the need to plan something lol x

We put 1st August down as our latest rsvp date but wishing we'd put 1st July down now lol people are really dragging out letting us know if they're coming

It seems now that there are 4 suitable venues, and we're not going to tell them that it is a wedding until we have a written quote and have paid the deposit so they can't change the price on us again.

I'm not doing an order of service either. Too much time and resources for something most of the friends/family won't care about.

I was laid in bed awake last night trying to get off to sleep and I thought of table names. As we have no real actual theme I thought maybe just going with the shades of purple there are and shades of green there are as they are our colour scheme. Will see what H2B thinks, normally I give him an idea on something and says whatever, then after I have done it he moans that he has not had a say in it. Cannot win sometimes eh?

Oh yep defo the same! Why do we bother eh? Lol. Now I make sure I get a proper answer from him and not a whatever.

I'm going to do my invites this weekend. Next weekend the boys are getting fitted for their suits, I've got to get the bridesmaids together to look at the alterations soon along with my own alterations.
I've been buying the groomsmen gifts today.

Centre pieces are mainly bought. Favours are bought.

I think I'm getting there. The sooner I get them out of the way the better. I've been a bit preoccupied with my 30th birthday party last weekend so i've bought all the stuff just need to print them and go glitter and glue mad!

I'm finally going to look at flower colours today with my mum, see what we can decide on and i finally got a decision off my h2b about the colour of his suits lol Got call to say the wedding rings are ready when we are, thats soooo exciting

I need to finish off the favours but I keep changing my mind lol!! Im driving myself insane.

I made Leah pompom last night, well whe I say made I bought the rose pompom and jazzed it up with some sparkly things!

Centre peices done, suits done, everything is pretty much done!

Oh and I still have done the table plan ahhhhhhhh

I have made a little progress today: I am happy with 4 tables just have to worry about the other 4 :-O..... I am going to get the mother in law to take a look and see if her side will be happy with where they are put! Also I have decided on a design for the favours and have started making them...

Woot! Just bagged a bargain on my wedding shoes on eBay. £12 including p&p for shoes that would usually be 4times that amount :D

We are going to another wedding tomorrow, fingers crossed the sun shines for them! I will be keeping an eye out on the types of things they have to see if i can twist anything and make it mine too and they dont think im copying! Cant wait!

Got soooo much to do this month i dont know where i am even going to fit in anything to do with the wedding!

In the next week i have to re apply for my job by writing a 4 page suitability statement, then interview the next week and the week after that i have a 15 minute presentation on leadership to create and present! Oh word, where am i going to find the time lol

Hello everyone,
I havent been on here in absolutely ages as life has been so hectic, I don't know if any of you will remember me but I used to be a regular poster. I had a very mild stroke late last year and have been hit with a bad depression since then, but am on the mend now so thought it was time to come back :D
Anyway! 3 months today I get married, I cant wait!!!! Our plans kind of stalled for a while and we are really struggling to pay for it all after everything that happened but we will get there! We're sending out our day invites on Monday which is so exciting! We have done them ourselves and I am so pleased with them. My dress is paid for (thanks to a loan off my Mum as I was really starting to panic), we have written our own handfasting ceremony and I so happy with it! Our celebrant is lovely and so easy to work with. We've had to cancel our sit down meal due to money probs but the reception venue have been really accomodating with the changes so I am really happy with what we have now (although still gutted we arent having the 'dream' day). This week I am choosing the dresses for our twin girls, and trying to decide on the decorations for inside the castle (ruined empty shell - will be stunning I hope!).
