We rang up our local church's vicar to arrange to have it registered with him and ask about the banns etc because we are getting married in my home village's church which isn't in our district and he very abruptly told me to phone back in August! Think we might have caught him on a bad day lol

I had my first hair trial today! Pics above!!! I really really like it!

Hen do is being sorted next week! We are going to toss idea's about and see what we come up with... I thought a pod at tiger tiger in manchester is a good idea Ilike a private room with kareoke), canal street (gay village), spa weekend or a chocolate class!!!

H2B has sorted his suit, bridesmaid dresses are present and correct. Candles for favours have arrived and my unity candle has arrived!!! Ahhhh getting close now, soooo exciting. I am going to miss all this planning!

My wedding credit card bill came in today. £1k. Eeekkkk! Good thing I got a 16 month 0% interest one! That is the biggest bill I have ever had. All in a good cause though.

Ooo yeah it does look good red. The place i fancy we can only have 14 people in a pod. I like the idea of it just being use though. I can make a fool of myself and it will just be my friends in the pod and they wont judge me lol...

I love it, I have done the Tiger Tiger one a couple of times. I love singing even though I cant! There is about 13 of us and it works out that if we spend £25 each on booze in 3 hours the room becomes free. Bargain! :)

I dont quite understand it. The place on your wall says its £X amount and you can order food and drink upto the value of the room. Does this mean the room is free????

If I wanted 18ppl on a sunday its states it would cost £248 for 3 hours. You order food and drink to the value of the room (£248) would the price double with the drinks or does the room become free??? Oh Im confused lol

If you spend £248 behind the bar or on food your room hire is free. My friend went on her daughters Hen do and they just kept bringing bottles of spirits, wine and beer until you hit the £248 then you pay for your drinks from there. x

I tried my veil on properly last night (when i say properly i mean just put it in my hair and looked in the mirror!) and as its a full gathering it looked quite puffy if i have it quite high up on my head - was i meant to get a different type of gathering? I wanted my hair half up/ half down......

Just had a wedding "meeting" with my H2B. We never seem to have time to talk about it. So muted the football during half time and sorted out:
    Table place settings
    Groomsmens suit style
    Readings for ceremony
    Music for ceremony
    First Dance song.

(Basically me giving him short list for everything and him choosing from there!)
All in 15 minutes. Proud of myself! :)

I let them pick them as i thought as they were the ones having to wear the dresses i wanted them to be comfortable in them as long as i picked the colour so after weeks and weeks of looking they finally decided on two birds dresses. They can wear them about 15 different ways so they can both have the same dress but wear it differently

I was just thinking about the dresses for my flowergirls and my junior bridesmaid and have come to the conclusion that I'm going to need 3 different dresses for them because of the age gap in them as my niece who is my junior bridesmaid she's 10 then my other niece is 6 and my daughter turns 2 the week before of get married so I was going to get a different dress for my older niece but in thinking the 4 year age gap is too much to have them wearing the same

Also went to the florist today as have been waiting over 2 months for my quote.she was very apologetic and did it there and then.Best of all i have come in on budget £203 for everything i wanted which is fab.
Clarebbella i think you would be fine dressing the 6 yr old and 2yr old in the same style of dress but i agree that you couldn't get away with it for the 10yr old.The dress my 7yr old will be wearing would look equally appropriate on a two yr old i think xxx

Clarabella I agree with you and poulton bride. My daughter is the only flower girl and her dress is simular to mine! same kind of detail on the front but not quite as much!

Nearly double figures for me!! I am awating my ribbon for my favours. As soon as they arrive I will crack on with them. I need to sort my table plan out.

We have extended out visit to the hotel we are getting married at by another to days so we can plan more wedding things yaya!

We can't afford the abroad honeymoon with having three kids aged 17, 13 and 7 so we are having a few days on our own in the lakes in a private lodge then the kids are joining us half way through the week to make it a family holiday

We are not going on a honeymoon straight away as we have asked for Thomas Cook vouchers so will find out what my timetable is like for the third year and then take it from there really.
