Oh jeez!! We did have this with H2B's mum as well asking have we invited so and so and have we invited so and so. Some people forget that you are limited to numbers and costs.

Hopefully you H2B can sort it out for you. Maybe just say you were limited on cost and seeing as you don't really know them they were not on your list, and if you could have afforded to they would have been along with other people. Then say if you want them there you pay for them!!!

It annoys me when people expect other people to be invited or friends expect to be invited. I posted on the book of face site recently how I was almost done with the organising of the wedding and then suddenly it's where's my invite, and where's my invite?? It annoys me! It's already cost us almost £6000 just for the venue, almost £4000 of that was just for food and drinks.

It sounds very complicated but your very good doing your cakes. I make cupcakes but wasn't brave enough to do them for our wedding lol. My h2b has seen his mum and she's apologised for upsetting me. Its been resolved with his mum but I've told him I want nothing more to do with his sister and he can decide if she comes or not. I will support him but will be ignoring her

oh god only 37 more days until the wedding! I have far too much to do until then will have to put in extra wedding hours this week haha!

I hope all ladies having their hen nights this weekend have a fantastic time.I wish i was having mine again :(.I have told my hens that we will, after the wedding, be having a 'post hen night or a debrief' not sure what to call it yet! It will give us something to look forward to and i will be able to thank my girls properly for giving me such a good night xxx

Awww Teresa. I hope he talks with her about it. Have a word with him tonight and ask him to contact her there and then and tell her she is not welcome if that is how she reacts. Weddings always end up with a fight don't they? I know there will probs be one at mine as H2B's brother does not speak to his daughters. They are angry with him for leaving their Mum after years of being together, both his daughters are grown ups. They almost started on him at a family funeral last year by wanting to chuck a pint over his head. I have placed them away from each other on the table plan, and apparently they have been warned not to start anything, but once the drink flows so do the words!

Been for a dress fitting. Dress now fits up top but needs a small amount taken up from the lace at the front of the dress but nothing else.

Yayyyy Hen afternoon/night today. Very excited!! Whoop whoop! Have fun to anyone else having their hen today.

It only seems five minutes ago mine was saying five months to go.

Slightly peeved off as h2bs uncle just called after saying they were coming to the wedding, then booked a holiday at the time of the wedding, then say yes they will still be coming. I told the woman doing the table plan to go ahead with it and now a call from him to say they cannot change the flights.

One of the bridesmaids dresses arrived today, just the other two to get sorted now.

Yesterday I emailed the groomsmen and best man to sort out suits (because h2b is waiting until the last minute... Again) and it turns out that they were all under the impression that we were paying for the suits. H2b didn't say we were, but he didn't make it clear that we weren't.The best man is on jobseekers, and can't afford it. The others are ok, just a little surprised, but now ordering the waistcoat and sending their details for the suits.

As you can imagine, this caused some issues.

After much negotiation, we've agreed that he buys the waistcoat and we sort the suit hire.


I'm starting to get a little ratty about this. H2b said he wanted to help. Said that we organise it together. We had jobs allocated that each of us would do. His first job was to organise the suits. That was in April. He hasn't completed ANY of his jobs. What happens is that it gets to the 11th hour and I have to do it.

Yeah, I'm with Glitterfairy. The only person we didn't ask to provide their own dress was my 9 year old cousin... my mum ended up paying for bms' dresses cos she ordered them for us then refused to take the money!! Everyone else is paying for their own, including best man who's on jobseekers!!! At the end of the day you can get a suit for next to nothing at primani, and surely, if he's on jobseekers, he should have a suit for interviews?? But I guess if you want a specific suit, even with a good amount of notice he may not have been able to do it.... I know that while me and H2B were on jobseekers it wouldn't have mattered how much notice we had, we would not have been able to afford suit hire!!
So...... had my hen night on friday.... then my final hair trial yesterday.... not a good combination!! I'm still in pain now!!!!!!! Also my countdown thingy now says 2 Weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eeeeeeekkkk!!!!! Emailed the table plan and music list for the DJ over today, just waiting for H2B to look through the list of essential photos, then that will be going too!!!!! not much left to do now!!!

It was awesome!! exactly what I wanted!! nothing too big, just a meal and a night out. And even better it didn't cost me a penny!!!!! lol
