I'm very proud to say I am a full time mummy and I love it :D I think if you are fortunate enough to be able to afford to stay at home with your children then you should :) Hard work though, sometimes I think it would be easier to stick him in nursery and let them tire him out hehe
I do want to be a midwife though, I will get there one day x

Gem1102 that sounds like my ideal job! Lol id love to do something like that! My job is so high pressured, very quick thinking and stressful! Sometimes I enjoy it other times hate it. But suppose it's the same with all jobs.

It can be stressful but I get a great amount of job satisfaction, when something gets finished and people like what you've done. I've only been doing it a year but can't imagine doing anything else now! xx

I was full time mummy until youngest started full time school when i got a job in a school kitchen. That was good hours, but really wasnt for me, now i am an enablement support worker and i love it! Still studying for degree in child and youth studies and shift work 35 hours a week, plus coursework housework kids and wedding planning can make life very chaotic, but i am happy. H2b works in IT, i think the official job title is softwear analyst or something, but he gets to sit on computers most of the day and get paid good money for it, so he is happy enough lol.

Becky - yeah I know it's a very hard course to get into. Hopefully my nursing grades will keep up (just started my third year) as the midwifery intake lady said that would help my application. I'll keep applying untill they get bored and let me in! Lol. I really like nursing, but also really want to be a midwife.
