it's only £2.50 a month to be a PU so I'd pay the monthly fee - I'm at 82000 points already so nearly 5 gold stars and only been paying for PU status for 3 months so cheap as chips!

It's a bit rubbish if you live outside London given that travel is only included within 90 minutes of his studio/home. Given London traffic that might only take you 10 miles!

I'd gladly pay the travel costs if it meant I would get a wedding photography package worth a £1000...........paying £30-40 or even £100 in travel but getting a thousand pounds worth of stuff BARGAIN I say especially if you can't afford a photographer. Shouldnt we be grateful that the photographer is giving away a £1000 worth of photography for FREE rather then moan about whats is and isnt included in the PRIZE!

For someone who lives in Scotland it would cost around £500 in travel alone (based on the standard 45p per mile mileage rate) before you even got started on accommodation and other costs, and you'd never get to meet the photographer in advance or have a venue visit (without paying out another £500 and thus negating the prize). To limit the travel included to within 90 minutes (not even 90 miles) of London really doesn't give a good impression to brides outside the South-East of England.

Gosh! I just noticed that it doesn't even include the photos. You'd have to pay extra for those too! I'm sorry, but this is a prize that I REALLY wouldn't want to win (and I wouldn't feel even slightly jealous of anyone outside London who did win). You're cheaper booking a local photographer who knows the locations and includes the digital files or albums.

It would be a fantastic prize, if not for the small print. I think it needs to be spelled out how much a bride would have to pay to get the photos or album after the big day as there's no point in the photos existing if you can't have them.

What worries me is that whoever wins this price either ends up with no photos as they can't afford it or ends up with a big bill for photos at the end. If this guy charges £1000 just for his services, how much is he going to charge for photos? that's normally the most expensive part! I think this is an awful price :-( Sorry.

It's not being ungrateful, it's being concerned. The T&C do not make this prize open to every bride, some are going to be better off not winning. If it wasn't for the T&Cs it would be a fantastic prize! And this isn't a dig at ukbride, they do a great job but may be they could ask the photographer to rethink his terms x
