I told my boss today that I would be leaving to live in Essex when I get married. We had all just done our annual CPR course and had a good laugh-then I sprung it on him! He gave me a big hug and said he would really miss me 'coz no one had a sense of humour like mine and I was the only one who "got" him-then he said my H2b was really lucky and was going to have so much fun being married to me(?) It was so sad-I just wanted to cry-am now dreading my last day of work-I will be useless!! :(

:-( aww that was nice of him. i know how you feel as i handed mine in last saturday and my boss made me cry lol. I've worked since i was 15 so Its really weird thinking as of today i have no job as aposed to im on maternity. My boss has said im welcome back anytime tho :-) (left because cant find childcare) Dont worry babe you'll find another job in essex and love that just as much

Hope so! I been there just over 10 years and it was my first job for 10 years after having my kids! At least now I've told him, I can start telling patients-hated it when they said they'd see me in 6 months-and I couldn't say "no you won't"! lol He said I have to come back every year for the CPR-coz it would be boring without me! Bless him.

ohhhhhhhh how lovely ...........i told the ones i work with that i will prob be having my op redone on my shoulder andwhen asked how long i would be off for i just said ...long enough for you to talk about me behind my back
