I was originally making my own chocolate lollies and chocolate covere oreos but with us getting married at the beginning of september i was worried they will melt into oblivion.
So i've been searching and searching
came up with Sweet kebabs - decided against it as we are having a sweet buffet instead came up with keyrings - couldn't find any my parents wanted to brew our own wine - not into it
in the end i think i've settled for handmade bookmarks/hookmarks for the ladies in the colours of the day and old fashioned polystyrene glider planes for the men - something silly as they are so hard to buy for!!!

i could just even the idea up with the butterfly gliders for the women and make it a bit fun as me and jon are big kids :-) but i know that i like to keep wedding favours so i think that the bookmarks are ok.
I'm getting some purple heart shaped lollies made aswell so its not just those that they are getting

I'm not keen on the gliders - although I'm sure that there will be plenty of guys who would have fun with them, I think you also need to consider what will happen when these start getting thrown all around the room!

Personally I love the bookmarks but if my h2b received a glider plane he would be rather dissapointed to be honest where as the kids might love them??

lala getting the planes from bay of e you can get personalised wedding ones but i'm not sure i want to pay the extra cost when i can get them in bulk from bay of e
pennie i'm not worried as we are in a huge ballroom and it will be fun to drop them from the balcony above, i just hope people aren't too disappointed with them, my other half has picked them and he loves them! i just don't think he's thought of the older guests, don't get my wrong my side of the family will LOVE them but i'm not so sure about his side. looks like we're going for the gliders as other half has just told me he's bought them!
might come up with somthing else for the guys :-\ just don't want to step on the other halves toes

Bookmarks are fab!! And although im not too sure about the gliders idea I know that my other half would love them!! And his friends!!! Men are always still little boys at heart and i think they would find these very entertaining especially with a balcony to drop them off! You will never get the men down!! ha xxx

Explain to him that not everyone would maybe appreciate the thought of the gliders and that if you can find something cheap enough get them key rings also and if you can get butterfly gliders for the ladies do both! if your budget can stretch to it xxx

I really like the gliders, and as these look relatively cheap compared to the bookmarks, plus I would quite like to see a butterfly glider I voted to have gliders for the ladies too. I know I would appreciate one!!
