I haven't really put any thought into my hen do, I asked my MoH to give me some tips but she can't seem to organise a p*** up in a brewery. She's being a pain again (but that's another story)!
I think I've been planning the wedding and honeymoon so much that I've forgotten about my own hen do. But when I do think about it I'm stumped as to what to do. I live in South West London and my friends and family live on the Kentish coast. Apart from my immediate family no one has come up to my end since I moved up here in September 2011, despite me asking me. If they couldn't be bothered to see me then I'm worried they won't be bothered to see me for a hen do. I can't afford the train ticket to go to Kent because of the wedding.
I want a hen do because it would only upset me in the future thinking that I never had one, but then I wouldn't want the disappointment that no one will turn up.
Up this end I have my two SIL's and a few work friends (not all of whom know each other) whereas down in Kent I have my MoH and old school friends.

how about a nice spa day somewhere inbetween the two places your friends live?

Why don't you and your partner have your hen/stag do's together.. It's actually quite common to have joint do's plus it also saves the worry for both of you's as to what each party is doing :) x

Actually the joint stag and hen do sounds like a fab idea. I'll put that forward to the H2B when he's home.

That's what I'm going to suggest to my partner. As we're not drinkers so it'll be the perfect way to celebrate the beginning of a new life together instead on "the last night of freedom :/" :) x
